Not bigoted or heavily judgmental? His OP is quoted below with bolding added by me to certain parts. He implies that BBWs have psychological problems for being kinky, as opposed to apparently mentally healthier thin kinky women. He ASSumes that BBWs don't draw any attention. He ASSumes that BBWs can only fantasize about being submissive because it would never happen in real life. He's ASSuming that a BBW streaker would be told to cover up because of her size.

But that's not being a bigot.  Am I being a bigot if I said, "I noticed that a large percentage of lesbians here are stunning models?"  The truth is, there are more large females here than average and below in my experience.  There's nothing at all wrong wth being large and if you can live with it comfortably, more power to you, but he's really not saying anything that is outright intolerant of large people.

I think everybody here has something wrong with their head if they're into this stuff.  Especially the more hardcore stuff.  What I think he meant was if a typical overweight person that happened to be submissive had lower self-esteem when compared to a slender person and if that impacts what kinks they are receptive to.  And while a large woman will draw attention it won't be in the same comparison a thin woman would simply because that is a person's preference and most men prefer slim and fit partners.

How I'm seeing it is some insecurity being shown which is leading to these poor dismissive labels this guy has gained.  It's foolish and makes you think, "maybe it isn't the weight a guy is not attracted to in most cases but maybe the attitude?"

Okay, yes, you are correct in saying that he's not being a bigot. But he is being heavily judgmental, at least in my opinion, making all those ASSumptions about fat women/BBWs/whatever one wants to call them.

Um, are you suggesting that average women at some point had 14 inch waists?

My Mom had a 17 inch waist (even after the birth of 4 kids) of which she was quite proud. So does my younger sister. However they also had no breasts or butt so I consider myself the lucky one.

I call shenanigans on your mom and sister, Delilya - unless, that is, they had ribs removed. Even then, 17 inches is tough to attain, not that I would want to. Even Megan Fox in her much-publicized corset-of-death costume got down to only 18 inches.

Keep in mind when looking at these photos that the camera adds pounds.

Sherr, my Mom was extremely thin. So is my sister. They thought me odd because I was larger, I thought them odd because I've seen doors with more shapely figures.

Sherr, believe what you want. My father could literally circle her waist with his hands. You don't want to accept it as truth, so be it. But think about this, why in the world would I lie about it? To what purpose? shrugs

I wasn't doubting you in my last post. I meant what I said. If someone truly is that small, then they won't even be able to find clothes in the kids section!

Thank you, sorry I misunderstood. My Aunt is a seamstress and made most of their clothing. She is small herself, not that small but still. It was sooooooo pleasant growing up large in a small family. Still I'd rather be me. smiles

I have not been posting for a while now and I come back to find the same idiocy is going on; this thread in particular.

The assumptions and generalizations are hilarious.

The stupidest comment being made is that there is something intrinsically wrong with someone into BDSM.

If you think that and state that, then all you are doing is promoting your own lack of confidence, showing your insecurity and hoping to get some sort of outside validation from other tragic people who may make you feel momentarily better about who you are.

Whenever someone starts a thread like this, there should be an automatic response generated to them stating: "yeah, we know, you cannot find a woman of any type, so just lash out at everyone."

Good job fulfilling the above, OP.

*just a note here*

No one has to have their ribs removed to get down to a smaller size. The lower ribs are "floaters". That means they move. The people that still do extreme corset training know that given time and effort you can train your ribs to another shape. Keeping in mind of course that this in no way trains the fat covering them. It it amazing what one can teach their body to do if they really want to. Keep in mind of course that I am speaking of years of effort, time, and know how.

Why when you go to bars like hooters etc why isn't their a 200 pound waitress serving you. Where do you go for a plus size strip club? Do they even exist? Cheerleaders on any team are never even the Least bit overweight. You wanna try to alienate me that's cool. People in entertainment, tv, everything else cater to what the GENERAL public want to see.

There's quite a disconnect between what you see on the screen and fashion magazines and reality.

TANYA GOLD is a size 16, just like the average British woman. Yet she found herself treated with horror and contempt when she dared to try to buy a designer dress...

Except she isn't really THAT tiny, she had help: "The actress's usually 22-inch waist was laced into a girdle that reduced its diameter to a miniscule 18 inches."

My point exactly, TheFireWithinMe. Even with the help of Hollywood movie magic, Fox couldn't make it to 17 inches.

Your line "Keep in mind when looking at these photos that the camera adds pounds." says something else. Hence my comment.

I just meant that her 18 inch waist in the photo would look even smaller in person. Therefore, a 17 inch waist would be beyond my imagining. Apparently, however, some people have them.

I had a 17"-18" waist in my early teens, so it is possible. I was the same height as now (5 feet tall) but weighed around 90 lbs, was very active and athletic, and downright skinny. I also have a small frame proportionate to someone who is very petite in stature.

These days I think I am doing well weight-wise if I am 125 - 135 lbs. I don't fuss too much about weight on it's own, and I don't feel I am unattractive or unsexy b/c I am carrying more weight now than I want to. Attractive and sexy is a mental state.

Think of the gorgeous and model thin female who opens her mouth and destroys any chance of being seen as attractive by her grating voice or inane non-stop chatter. Or of the rather large guy who is sexy as hell b/c of his confidence and sense of who he is as a sexual animal.

If the only thing that attracts you are a tiny waist or a toned bod, I feel sorry for you. Physical beauty fades in time, a wonderful personality just keeps getting better and better.
