Ok. I may have had a bit of fun with the thread title, but the quotes from protesters towards the end of the piece are what caught my eye.

Occupy Wall Street may be trying very hard to remain undefined, but they are defining themselves nicely, all the same.




My city gets some awful winters, lake effect snows off of Lake Erie if the lake does not freeze.  But we are not planning on ending the occupation until the end of January at the earliest.  Plug in a heater, slip into a sleeping bag and then cover with a tarp and all is toasty.  Last night it was nearly freezing, I had no heater near me and the only part of me that was cold was my nose--I even had to remove my coats and sweater (only had a T-shirt on), removed my shoes and socks.  But we are trying to devise a plan so that groups of two-three rotate during the night so that others can go home and out of the weather if it gets really bad.

I am constantly posting news articles from every source that there is, including many that lean very hard to the left

Since when is Fox associated with Huffpo?

Since when is WSJ assocaited with them?

Half of the soyrces I have posted in the recent months have been from Fox.... a number from WSJ and NYT.

This one is about OWS, not Laughner. Its about people who got wet, it happens.

Its about the crazy ass comments after the article, like spraying people with urine, then telling me they are the more "civilized" of the two groups.

Status: offline 		Lucy, I hadn't seen that.  Thanks!!  My city has told us 'no flames, grills, etc., but gazeboville, as we call it, is equipped with electrical outlets, which allows us to have heaters.

The San Francisco Chronicle is equally appalled:

I cannot make this up. You have to watch the entire video unedited (though I also have the short video version) and see if Representative and Minority Whip Eric Cantor's version of a "public option" squares with your personal values as a human being and as an American.

The question an audience participant asked is paraphrased as "Relative got cancer and lost his insurance... what happens?"

Representative Eric Cantors response paraphrased: "Sell or auction all your belongings. After you reach a certain poverty threshold, apply for Medicaid, the federal medical insurance for the very poor. If that's not enough apply for indigent services."

As I said, I cannot make this up. Just watch the distinguished gentleman from Virginia, Rep. Eric Cantor.

Its how they feel everyone should answer their own problems.... unless it happens to them.

Lets not forget Santorum and wife being dead set against abortions... except when its a possibility to save his own wife.
