Obviously, Romney plays best for the class warfare template, but we can be quite sure that no Republican will be running on a "more government is the answer" platform. I think you misunderstood me, Rich. Depending on who gets the nod.... as in.. will it be someone more moderate? or someone to the more extreme right? Other than Iowa, is there any clear cut winners yet? We went from 999 to 909. Depending on th RNC candidate, Obama may be handed the election. No, you were quite clear, Tazzy. I just don't think it matters all that much. Even with all the strikes against him, I still believe President Obama will be a formidable candidate next November, but he'll be going class warfare, demonization, and scorched earth, because has hasn't got anything else (I'm including the race bullshit in "demonization," here). ANY Republican candidate is going to be portrayed as unacceptable/crazy/extreme/an enemy of the working and middle class. The question is, can President Obama hold enough unity in his base, without losing the independents who may be swayed by such arguements, to hold on to his job?
