I guess that guy just didn't understand how serious a game like monopoly really is. This is exactly the kind of thing that would happen in my house growing up. Except we never got to play much. The stabbings usually started when someone chose a piece someone else wanted, like shoe...

There is another thread going on where a guy has his arsenal ready because he thinks the forum respondants are going to go and get him because we disagree with his views of financial dommes.

If you've spent all night gaining the upper hand only to find you're playing with a cheat, some retribution is called for. The principle is valid, all that is in question is the severity of punishment. Obviously we don't want to go to jail over a damned cheater.
We have plenty of people here skilled in the ways of pain.
Some can even leave no trace behind for the likes of Horatio Caine to find.

If I don't get the car someone is fucking dead. You only beat people up for cheating. But see we are a mellow group of nuts, or real assholes when we try. I get the car or else there is no monopoly gsme, just a blaze of glory.

All the social and humanitarian issues in the world do not add up to squat compared to having that car in the monopoly game. Get your priorities straight.

Yeah, scrabble also has a violent history in my family. And what's even worse is Boggle. There is something just bad about a group of people with sharp pencils hovered over a tiny box of letters. All the while that hourglass runs out. You can feel the tension building...

Status: offline 		LOL! When I first took the woman I married home to meet the family, I made a point of telling her that they were very nice people, as long as the Monopoly board wasn't on the table. She learned. She hasn't won a game yet, either.
