Owner59 -> Prediction....flavor of the week Cain,... going down.... (10/27/2011 9:37:50 PM)

He`s on top right now in many states and in national polls.

But ads like this one and his fellow candidates ripping him to shreds,it won`t be long till poor Mittens is back to #1 on the #2 pile.

Ouch!....compared to Hillary.....ouch!....[:D]Man if I was him, when the rape question came up,instead of dukakising out like Cain did,I`d have bitch-slapped that ass for asking the question. That, would have gotten him a lotta votes.

He also has the dreaded flip-flopper label now and cons who can count, don`t like his 9-9-9 plan/stunt.

A few weeks tops and the threads will be about the next GOP flavor of the week.

But then,...... who will be the next one?

Maybe Newty?[:D]

I loved one of the quotes, "from Craig Robinson, a Conservative Iowa Official".

It would be great if Cain was the nominee going against Obama!!

Hillwilliam -> RE: Prediction....flavor of the week Cain,... going down.... (10/28/2011 12:47:44 PM)

Well, hlen, it's looking like he just might be. I don't see him as THE frontrunner yet but I do see him as A frontrunner.

Speaking of predictions...

Its too easy predicting who leftists would fear most in the general election

[:D]

mnottertail -> RE: Prediction....flavor of the week Cain,... going down.... (10/28/2011 2:17:56 PM)

Gee, Owner ...

A Republican candidate that doesn't think government ought to be involved in legislating morality ... and you wanna pick on him?

Republican voters choosing such a man ... and you want to demonize them?

Are you more interesting in espousing your principles, or just in attacking Republicans?

Firm

It could be the smart thing for the Republicans to do...Say the country as a whole is near divided politically...Now you can nominate someone that will hold your base and take some valuable perhaps deciding votes away from Obama among African Americans...It is a win win situation and it scares me.

It "scares" you?

Are you being sardonic, or serious, Butch?

Certainly not Cain, nor the douchebag behind this ad fundie asshole Santorum.
So the question becomes.....who else you got [8|]
In this leftists mind...you guys are looking real weak no matter which one of your current crop of idiots comes out in top [:)]

Butch

He might take some of the black vote from Obama but he would lose just as many votes because of dumbass racists staying away from the polls.

slvemike4u -> RE: Prediction....flavor of the week Cain,... going down.... (10/28/2011 2:30:48 PM)

Get real,no way,no how Cain comes out of the nominating process as the Republican candidate. He is not ideologically pure,as the Santorum ad points out....and if there is one thing one must be to get nominated for this party(aside from being white of course [:)]) it is ideologically ivory soap (99.9) pure [8|]

I dunno mike.  I'm not sure that Cain will get the nomination, but I suspect if he doesn't, it won't be because of the abortion issue.

And if he does get the nomination, then the single issue voters on abortion will have a choice between a man who doesn't like it, and one who actively funds and supports it, so I suspect they'll know the best way to vote their interest.

Firm I don't think Cain is the answer so yes he does scare me. We need a uniter not a divider in our country today.

Butch

Hillwilliam -> RE: Prediction....flavor of the week Cain,... going down.... (10/28/2011 2:42:25 PM)

Who do you think IS the answer on the R side, Butch?

slvemike4u -> RE: Prediction....flavor of the week Cain,... going down.... (10/28/2011 2:43:18 PM)

Oh hell Firm,I wholeheartedly agree, there are dozens of reasons not to nominate Cain, above and beyond the abortion issue....for instance there is the complete unsuitability and unpreparedness issue.Simply stated the man is not a serious candidate....as far as I can tell he is simply selling books. The man doesn't even have an organization, now some of you might ask...what's s wrong with that ?
In my eyes a hell of a lot....he is diverting and diluting what should be serious business to his own agenda. This is man is sucking air out of the room...air that could better be used by the Republican Party to decide just who will,in the end,be their. Hoice to lose the 2012 election....Romney or Perry.

Hillwilliam -> RE: Prediction....flavor of the week Cain,... going down.... (10/28/2011 2:44:42 PM)

Better not be Perry or I swear I'll contribute to Obama.
