Darque, there are reports now that the OWS movement has been infiltrated by people expressly there to cause violence.  So even if violence does occur, it will not necessarily be OWS that is behind it.

Typical liberal...blame someone, anyone, else.

Does mean you cons are going to blame bush for his economic collapse, instead of everyone else?

No one said they were angels. There is a distinct difference between the two incidents.

There is also an all too obvious distinct difference between the two groups, OWS and TEA Party.

Yes, one is a grass roots protest engaging in time honored acts of civil disobedience. The other is a bunch of gullible bigoted fools manipulated by corpoartions and billionaires to do their bidding.

To be fair and accurate, most Ts & cons are NOT bigoted.

But some are and they have a big tent.Que sera sera.

Just made the distinction for Jim! cos you seem a little struggley in your pool of bs

If they werent there in the first place there would be nothing to "infiltrate". It was an amorphous, undisciplined effort from the start. Everybody was an infiltrator in one way or another. And the violence will continue to escalate.

Not much coincedence that rightists are craven corporate appeasers. The disciplined efforts of the teaparty are imploding the GOP and making them all look stupid.

So.......

* Interesting picture... But don't ya think it's odd that the best the photographer is willing to capture in a picture of two guys making their way past the dumpster fire and not the guys standing in blue windbreakers who, if you watched this scene occur, were standing off to the right of the fire enjoying their work? Maybe they don't want you seeing the uniform look of the provocateurs.
Not even sure this is held to journalistic standards tend to use pictures from other contexts somewhat often. PARTICULARLY when their goal is sabotage. But you know that DON'T YOU.

*Safety Advice If it's yellow spattered looking (like paint ball) IT'S A POLICE TEARGAS PROJECTILE RESIDUE Don't touch. It's Cop leavings and it's not the protester's fault they didn't get hit with it.

*I watched live from three embedded cam view how the actual police/protester 'vilolence' started. It started with with three punks all wearing the same bright blue windbreakers ball caps and shiny new surgigal masks come through and very amateurishly throw around some garbage pails on wheels. The camera man identified them as cops that were around earlier in the day trying to egg the demonstrators into fist fights.  Then the cops' first target was a homeless guy who was simply making his way up to the park to bum some food. I guess the police thought it would be good sport to shoot rubber bullets at the homeless, since they so rarely can cover it up like that.
Either way GREAT FUCKING JOB BY POLICE... They arrested basically only those who peacefully volunteered for arrest. And as for the provocateurs... they were conveniently let go.

*The man in the mercedes who struck two protesters hard enough with his car to knock them under the vehicle was briefly questioned by BART Cops and let go???
Tell me your pithy little story of where you've heard of THAT ever happening and there not being something CATASTROPHICALLY WRONG with the lawmen involved.

Not to mention that the car was driven by a guy who was heard to say "If you cops put this thing down like you should've at first, this wouldn't have happened" Either way, the 1%er asshole got away. His demeanor and his statements clearly should have resulted in his arrest, at LEAST until a full investigation occurred. The crime here is vehicular assault... HELLO??? Can you Bogus Neo-Cons Contain Your Homicidal rage in favor of free speech and other constitutionally protected activities????????

M80s Shot at cops from 'bomb launchers'  Ummmm not hardly... the cops fired flashbangs in open windows at people standing in them and some bounced off the building and came back down on the cops giving them a taste of their own medicine... All while protesters were doing THIS

And in the end somewhere between 2 dozen and 50 people were arrested when 7000 (protesters and cops alike now feel it's probably closer to 12 - 15k based on their tweets) is the about the lowest estimate of how many people marched... What I have heard is that's about how many marched back to Ogawa.
Anyway play all the circle jerk you want to with it, if you were telling the truth there would be a governor's call to the National Guard. No such call has been made IN ANY STATE.
Therefore you are willfully playing make-believe. I pity small men like you.

Prediction - By April tere will be at least twice as many supports of OWS Movement as there will be for the Tea Party movement/subversion. And at that point we have a BIG surprise for ya[:D]

Stay tuned for more big headlines Saturday.[:D]

I am SURE I am not the only person right here on this forum who finds it freakish that he and the author don't see how bizarre it is to create pages of diatribe over a verbal typo.
See that's one of  Achilles heels. We go after fox news and it fucks with them to no end... then they come gurgling up out of their political toilet with something about the 'liberal media ' we sit here scratching our heads wondering how come they get so fucking frothy over it.
Is it because they need someone to blame when their political goals are absurd, unachievable, or just can't cut it?

I said in another thread that the protests will inevitably turn violent, either because of the natural gravitation of protests or because of the acts of a few that "start the ball rolling" as it pertains to mob mentality.

Some of you disagreed oh-so-heavily with that assessment as you bashed the cops who are there just to do their jobs.

I hate to say "I told you so," but.....

http://news.yahoo.com/police-occupy-protesters-clash-oakland-072458892.html?bouchon=807,ca

Of course they will inevitably turn violent. You've not ever read a history book then. Duuuude.

Like the government plant Larry Grathwohl and the Weather Underground? Where would their bombs and guns have come from with out him? Or the FBI informant that blew up Judi Barre's butt, so they could charge her with conspiring to blow up her own butt? (I kid you not, that is EXACTLY what the FBI did; the later $11 M settlement said so).

I hope we are not talking that sort of violence here. Much less that sort of ineptitude.

Still less that the number of threatening punks at your average Tea Party 'Rally'.
I will say that they're more careful with their fire than the undercover cops, ummm I mean  'anarchists' ... Mosta the time theirs stays confined to the cross.[:D]
