ORIGINAL: werebeastie Again you say things I do not ... this issue of slave (human property) being synonymous with chattel (property in general) aside ... you go on to say "... and I don't know any women that would want to be someone's chattel, with no commitment at all" Neither do I but then my slave, my chattel, my zealot will not be unloved or without commitment. I would very much appreciate it if you did not state your assumptions as fact. I am happy to be forthcoming and honest, even if people do not like or agree with me but I do not care to be misrepresented in what I say. All any of us can do is read what is written, and try, as best as we can, to decipher the person's intent or meaning. I can't imagine how you reached the assumption I don't like you. I don't even know you. Besides, you have enough of an adoring groupie thing going on right now here anyway, need a few of us skeptic caustic types to keep you Doms on point. Seriously, it's all good. Sometimes just semantics can cause some confusion, and I appreciate your clarification. Just because I can't reconcile chattel, neglect at whim and love in the same relationship, it certainly doesn't mean other women can't be just fine with it. I tend to over-analyze everything and dissect people's every word, especially the older I get. Not a bad thing...
