I realize that the following statement will be strawmanned to death but, going by the same sort of logic used by so many leftists on these boards this rests squarely on the shoulders of every OWS sympathizer there is.

I watched the video feed. I didn't see her go down but that's bad location of the camera.
It's interesting that her clothes werent mussed, nor was her nose bloody as indicated in the article. Yes, I realize that develops later sometimes, especially in cold dry air like they have in DC now but I'm considering the slight possibility it was staged. Especially as she was attending a tribute to Ronald Reagan Dinner which I am guessing costs several hundred dollars/person but supposedly rode the bus. Round trip bus fare from Detroit to DC is $202 and airfare is $247 round trip. so why is she at an event that costs so much, rode the bus 11 hours when airfare is almost the same price? When I checked the Detroit-DC route, it is 15H 44 minutes, not 11 and that is the express.

Things don't add up.

Does anyone else smell a scam?

Plus this comes from FOX News, which has 'always' shown in the past to be 'totally' 'truthful' with its 'reporting'. That FOX News has 'never' held a political bent or motivation in its.....'reporting'. So you have a video Sanity of some elderly lady on the ground and injured? She could have slipped and fell, or some....conservative....pushed her and than blamed it on the OWS folks that were there. That too is just as likely as some liberal doing it. Or will you have us believe that conservative wingnuts are totally moral people, who would NEVER do such a thing for political points?

Update: Further uploaded video footage shows the second woman to have been brought to the ground by a conference attendee losing his temper and pushing through the Occupier chain. While it was clearly a mistake on his part, and wrong, it is also equally true that the dinner attendees should have been able to go to dinner at a public place without wild, aggressive people imprisoning them in a human chain as they tried to leave the venue! This is not protesting, this is physical intimidation and harassment. However, the older lady and others were clearly pushed by the occupiers over the stairs as other occupiers released their side of the chain.

That's were good reporting and JOURNALISM come in handy. To study the information and than ask the question from critical thinking skills "Is this possible? And if so, what is the likelyhood of those events coming together". This video doesnt provide alot of information. But than, FOX News has been shown in the past to edit and modify information to present 'their version' of the 'facts'. And I do believe its been confirmed that FOX News does not hire journalists but really psychotic people that care nothing for their fellow man (or woman or child).

What unmitigated and imbecilicly entertaining asswipe op. Perhaps you should actually look at the video, (where it can be seen clearly the guys escorting her from the dinner inside the building who were turned around and facing her on those stairs), pulled her down the stairs and missed throwing her under the bus (a usual conservative ploy) by several feet.

Did anyone see that?

So, if we look at the middle upper left quadrant at 0:26 (at the shout of let's go, the shaven head corporate suit thug from security is clearly seen pushing a fellow on the stairs facing the building down the stairs knocking into the old lady and she goes flying. So, the republican teabagging goons and thugs are clearly kicking the shit out of the old lady.

What I don't understand is why sanity would show a video where at 0:26 it clearly shows the tebagging goons and thugs of the republican party throwing an old lady down the stairs. Is this the first incontrovertable evidence of the republican death squads in action?

If she was pushed, it would damn sure condemn an individual. Just like the Oakland shooting. I don't condemn the police, I condemn the person that pulled the trigger if he did it with malice. (I think they should as well)

I'm just looking at inconsistencies combined with Fox's proven track record to smell a rat.
