I am still at a loss as to why you got so defensive. You asked a question. We answered it the best that we could. No one said you were not a nice guy. I did not attack you personally. I suggest the next time you ask a question in a public forum that you word it so that it asks exactly what you mean. Apparently the question was not about why it is difficult to find models for spanking videos. I am guessing but I now think the question was why there are not more women willing to be in spanking videos.

Let me answer the new question from my own perspective. I am not an exhibitionist. I have no need or desire for strangers to watch me do anything. Second, I may be a submissive but I'm not big on spanking. Third, I am not sure what scale is for models who do these kinds of videos, but you have not mentioned any amount. I have a feeling that it's just not worth my time, effort, or chance of being outted to make a few bucks.

See? Two very similar questions with two very different types of answers.

Status: offline 		Okay let's try this.  I'm on Fetlife far more that collarme but both sites show new local users and I can do a basic search for submissive in my area too.  Now when I come across a female submissive between 18-50 no more than 200 pounds I send a message inviting them to do spanking videos with us and tell them they do get paid.  They can easily go to my links on my profile and check out our stores and so on.  For example, we have over 800,000 views on our Spankingtube profile and people really like our videos. Is it too forward to just come out and say I'm seeking spanking models?  I'd rather be right up front and not try to slide in under the radar and ask to be friends first.

So is this your point on opening this thread then? Did you try to backdoor it before and instead asked a different question about why it was hard to find women to do this, but what you really wanted was to find women to do these videos? I am honestly confused about where things are going.

Yes. This is primarily a dating site, the majority of people on CM are looking for relationships, not opportunities to star in a porn flick.

Also, new submissive girls such as you describe get about 300,000 emails in the period they are on the new users list. Unless they are actively looking to be in a spanko movie, they are just going to delete you out of hand along with all the other crazies <and believe me, some of the messages you get really are from crazies!>.

If you're serious, then wait a few weeks before contacting these women, by then the load in their inbox should be down to a manageable 100 or so a day, so your message might get read. But even then, remember your offer is basically unwelcome to begin with, The vast majority of the women on this site who want to be spanked are looking for a long term committed relationship with their spanker, not a quick afternoon business arrangement. Effectively you are approaching somebody wanting a steak and offering them a tofu burger.

I hope that makes sense.

honestly, i don't think it is, just do it down in Professional Services. people use this site for all sorts of reasons, and the forums are very well organized for just this reason.

If you don't have an established stable of actresses then you're always going to be struggling to find them. In fact, maybe this is a question you might like to answer. You say you make videos professionally, why haven't you got your established stable of actresses?

It doesn't matter how professionally you make your videos or that you pay industry rates. None of that entitles you to getting actresses. Models and actresses also get industry rates (and higher) from reality TV shows, commercials and other work without getting spanked. These rates must be worthwhile given the amount of time so many of them spend trawling round different castings and auditions.

Your problems with finding actresses are common to almost everyone right across this level of the film industry.

Have you tried any casting websites? Being honest if you're relying on Fet and CM you're really going to be struggling and I know this from my own experiences of trying to find amateurs for a short independent with a BDSM theme.

But that's just it, you're struggling because everyone else is struggling. It's hard because the film industry is a hard business. In fact it's one of the hardest businesses in existence. To succeed you have to be just as hard at least, if not harder.

But I'm still interested as to why if you make such videos professionally you haven't already got your own established stable of actresses.

Hmmm....Did I mention one can waste a lot of time here? These are not real people here in the sense that they would never talk to you like this in person. It's a game of entertainment or diversion and a social network for the unsociable. It is measured in snarks. A snark is one ounce of mud slung. Many of these posts are in the kilo-snark level with the exception of the gay wimp who slung all the mud he could with a lip wrist. That was your first mistake, OP. You shouldn't be looking for submissive people for your videos. You should be advertising for masochists or fetish models. As most have said, submissive people enjoy spanking related activities with a person they're in a relationship with.

Even though I've done my share of fetish photoshoots & a variety of videos, even I wouldn't be interested in your videos. (I don't relate as submissive at all.) Spanking isn't my thing. I'm more of a hardcore masochist. OTK? Not at all. I am turned off by the idea of some random dude spanking/fondling me for a video. If I were to do it, my #1 issue is hourly fee up front. if I wanted to be paid with the "profits" I'd get my own "Clips4Sale" site. #2 issues- I keep my thong on for the shoots. #3- No bare hand- an implement must be used (but that negates the "spanking")

And that is where i feel you missed the point. First, you defend that you were just asking for advice. Then you post this.

There is nothing wrong with looking for spanking models, it's just how you went about it. One, be upfront with what you are really doing....drumming up business. Two, put it in the right catagory. What made you look bad was not being upfront about what you really were looking for....spanking models. It's not that complicated.
