First, up to this point, there have been only TWO women posting in this thread, at all.  Yours and Tazzy's posting history speaks for itself.

Second, I can't say that I've seen any of the men in this thread saying outright that the accusers are lying.  You may feel differently, but again, yours and Tazzy's posting history speaks for itself; neither of you don't appear to be typically willing to give anyone with politically opposed views to yourself any benefit of the doubt.

You may vociferously disagree and say that you are stating what you think is obvious, but there are others who have the capacity to step back to consider a broader array of variables.  Some of us would prefer to wait for all the evidence to surface, and acknowledge that we may never know the truth.

Finally, if the number of women posting in this thread is any reliable measure of the veracity of the accusers, the bigger question is why aren't there more than two women posters supporting them here?

1. The entire research article was published in 2009, and based on previous research done over the previous two decades, with most of the data from the mid-90s to the present.

2. You can't get a police department to enforce a protective order, pretty much anywhere, even today.

You mean evidence of my bias, don't you?  Bias confirmation (confirmation bias) is a tendency for people to favor information that confirms their preconceptions or hypotheses regardless of whether the information is true.  It would be silly to say that I hold up and agree with my own postings as confirmation that I am right.

And of course, I expected you to come back with some kind of dig on me rather than address what I posted.

Despite reports of reprehensible conduct.
If I needed to work this hard to convince myself and others of the worthiness of a given candidate...I just might reexamine my motives...but that's just me.None of this matters a hill of beans...his candidacy was never going anywhere anyway(no organization) his exit stage right is preordained

Yes, Mike... we all know how much you dislike Cain and how you're disappointed that anyone else can possible consider him as a viable candidate at this point; you've posted it numerous times in many different threads. 

Repeating yourself doesn't help your situation.

Of those, 460 were found to be "proven" allegations either because the "overwhelming preponderance of the evidence" strongly supported the allegation or because there was a conviction in the case. ....

The research was done between 1980 and 1984... the results written and reported in 1985
