I have no problem with immigrants, if you come here to be an American more power to you for being willing to better yourself and remove yourself from the crap hole you quite possibly lived in before. Come here, be an American, learn the language, work hard, do it legally, and all is well.
What I have a problem with are people who from day one have been breaking our nations laws. They come here illegally, they have zero desire to be an American, they suck us dry, don't pay taxes, use up resources in our hospitals, slow down our schools (and yes I have first hand experience being in school with a few) with their children who don't speak one word of English, and so on. Illegal immigrants are nothing more then parasites and I could care less if you kicked every one back across the border by way of implanting foot to their nether regions. There isn't a single job they do that wasn't done first either by legal workers or by native born Americans. Pick fruit? My uncle did it plenty for cash and plenty of legal immigrants do it. And it isn't simply dirty nasty work they do, they even take away from skilled trades the higher ups don't want you to think they take.
I will give you electricians as an example. Contractors have found out if they take a group of Mexicans and give them about an hours worth of training in the basics of connecting one wire to another, switches, and boxes, they can just show them a basic diagram of where they want it and let them loose in the house. Five or six will cost the same it does for one electrician and his helper and get it done in a quarter of the time. They will then just have an electrician who actually knows what he is doing come in after inspect it and fix the screw ups they almost always find. By the time it is all said and done each house is done like crap and cheaper and you can bang out more houses to boot. That is one example, it goes on plenty of places. Also when they are willing to work for nothing or even less then minimum wage the average American can't get hired to do it.
Like I said I have no problem for people who want to come here legally and want to become Americans. I could care less what happens to people who come here and sap off of our country, break its law with every step they take, and do nothing but further it being run into the ground.
Also I have zero sympathy for the guy who knowingly hires an illegal and pays a wage to one so low an American who wants the work simply can't afford to do it in his place. Immigrants help to provide low cost labor, always has been that way and probably always will. But when you pay them one that is so low it is redicules and Americans simply can't work for it they can kick you out along with them for all I care. It is just as much the fault of employers for giving them jobs as it is the illegal's who come here to take them. Mexico has problems, life sucks. With all that Mexico has to offer there is no reason they can't make it as a wealthy prosperous nation. They have plenty of natural resources and on top of that cheap labor. If it wont work by voting them out, then ya know what have a revolution and remove the corrupt government destroying your country. It has worked for thousands of years no reason it needs to stop working. And BTW, anyone opposed to what many Americans want on our Southern border needs to step back a second and review some facts. Namely what'll happen to you if you cross Mexico's border illegally especially from the South, and the restrictions on those who aren't native born. A nation has every right to protect its borders and what we want is less strict then a hell of a lot of countries out there.
