Romney states at the end of the day,once all sanctions have been exhausted he would go to war to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear capability.
Gingrich states he would use covert actions up to and including "removing Iranian scientists( re: assassinations ) he than amazingly stated these actions would retain complete deniability( after telling all of us about it...lol)
Of course Ron Paul took the contrary stance.....he wouldn't go to war and reiterated that war making powers resides with Congress not the President as per the Constitution.

Cain does not believe water boarding is torture,Bachman says President Obama is allowing the ACLU to run the CIA....lol.Paul once more is the voice of reason as far as torture is concerned( right there is a scary thought,Paul the voice of reason..lol)

I would have liked it if the moderator would asked them, "Given your support of using war to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons, would you have used your Presidential power to invade Pakistan in 1998 to prevent them from developing a nuclear weapon?"

Nice to see the two demonstrate their foreign  policy knowledge.

The thought of trying to use the Persian Gulf as some sort of a moat between the Russian/Chinese bloc and their proxy Iran, and the House of Saud  and their hangers on, while the little oil tankers the EUropenas, Indians and other Commonwealth Countries in the Pacific, never mind China and Japan  depend on run the gauntlet through it is almost hilarious.

I suppose the Russians and the Chinese get to field test their newest military toys. India must think it sucks, being on the wrong geographic side of this scheme.

Kiss goodbye to Afghanistan and Pakistan (they have said they would use their nuclear weapons on anyone who nuked a Muslim country in the past) , and watch what direction the Arab Spring goes in, it will seriously suck to be Israel..

So when the Chinese start escorting Iranian tankers bound for Asia from their shiny new naval bases in Pakistan and Iran while the mullahs engage in target practice and weapons testing on the rest or the oil traffic, just how will this work?

Perhaps he will be asked that very question once the republicans choose their candidate and the debates for the general are held.I will go out on the limb and hazard the guess that Obama's answer will entail a bit more nuance and subtleness that what we heard tonight.

I don't think you need to ask Obama, when  you can see what he is doing and draw your own conclusions.
