Nice to see the two demonstrate their foreign policy knowledge. The thought of trying to use the Persian Gulf as some sort of a moat between the Russian/Chinese bloc and their proxy Iran, and the House of Saud and their hangers on, while the little oil tankers the EUropenas, Indians and other Commonwealth Countries in the Pacific, never mind China and Japan depend on run the gauntlet through it is almost hilarious. I suppose the Russians and the Chinese get to field test their newest military toys. India must think it sucks, being on the wrong geographic side of this scheme. Kiss goodbye to Afghanistan and Pakistan (they have said they would use their nuclear weapons on anyone who nuked a Muslim country in the past) , and watch what direction the Arab Spring goes in, it will seriously suck to be Israel.. So when the Chinese start escorting Iranian tankers bound for Asia from their shiny new naval bases in Pakistan and Iran while the mullahs engage in target practice and weapons testing on the rest or the oil traffic, just how will this work?
