My argument, according to you, is polyanna because its based on a puerile argument. The constitution was based upon the same beliefs.
The Constitution stated men have the right to vote.. free black men were counted as 3/5's of a vote. Women were denied the right to vote. Any other race was denied the right to vote. But, yeah, they had a deep understanding of the way they wished to rule this country. Founded by white men, ran by white men. Keep the slaves and the natives in their places, and the little woman at home.
I would call that attitude extremely juvenile. It certainly has played out that way. The attitude that because someone is white and male they are the only ones who should have a decision in the running of this country. Yet that attitude has changed, by pushing the vote... by pushing the puerile concept that , as the Constitution states, "All men are created equal"... not just white men.... not just males ... but everyone in this country.
I happen to believe that sitting back and whimpering that the "game is rigged" is a cop out when people dont know what to do about a situation. Its a defeatist attitude allowing people like you to roll over and play dead instead of getting off your ass and actually doing something about the situation.
So, please, do continue on with your whining... we all see it for what it is. your inability to come up with solutions yourself.
Im sure you will mind, but frankly, my dear, I dont give a damn if you do, I will continue on with my "puerile" ideology and hope that others also catch on instead of continuing with the political games you favor so much.
