lovmuffin -> Gingrich, Romney and Cain In Dead Heat (11/14/2011 11:14:06 AM)

Seems like Newt has caught up. Some polls have Romney, Gingrich and Cain in a statistical tie. I have predicted Gingrich will be the nominee and I'm still sayin it.   I would only hope that any debate with Gingrich and that community organizing Marxist hack won't go pay per view as I know people would pay out the ass to see Gingrich mop the floor with em.

Duly noted

Personally, I think Newt is the brightest one of the bunch but his baggage is going to hurt him.

If nothing else, he has shown that he is smart enough to sit back and let his opponents destroy each other.

Lucylastic -> RE: Gingrich, Romney and Cain In Dead Heat (11/14/2011 12:28:17 PM)

he is part of the problem tho and as such is the last person needing to be elected
he knows how its run but has NOT interest in changing the status quo
the repeat cronyism, and lobbying is safe with him

lovmuffin -> RE: Gingrich, Romney and Cain In Dead Heat (11/14/2011 1:17:27 PM)

His baggage won't hurt so much as Obama's baggage on the economy.  In any case he will overcome it.

Please say that ain't so Lucy.  Which candidate would it not be safe with ? I have concerns with him too but he's the guy who is going to get the nomination.

Lucylastic -> RE: Gingrich, Romney and Cain In Dead Heat (11/14/2011 1:21:28 PM)

when you come out of your dream state honey I will hug and comfort you... its ok

His baggage is what gave obama his baggage, the fact he hasnt helped the economy in anyway says an awful lot about him. And ALL the candidates in the GOP debates.
what have THEY DONE in the past three years to help the economy and the people hurting. ANY OF THEM???

willbeurdaddy -> RE: Gingrich, Romney and Cain In Dead Heat (11/14/2011 1:35:41 PM)

Romney/Rubio. Bank it.

Hillwilliam -> RE: Gingrich, Romney and Cain In Dead Heat (11/14/2011 1:36:17 PM)

Sorry, muffin, I still think that 1. Romney will be the nominee and 2. He is the only one that can beat Obama.

I thought Cain could. I REALLY liked some of his stuff before 9-9-9 and this latest baggage came out (even if he's innocent, ya gotta admit it will hurt with the voters).

As long as it isn't Perry or Bachman and that seems to be a safe call now.

I think you're at least half right there wilbur and Rubio is a very good possibility for Veep. It's really too early to tell on that tho.

Lucylastic -> RE: Gingrich, Romney and Cain In Dead Heat (11/14/2011 1:49:01 PM)

I thought rubio was having issues

Hillwilliam -> RE: Gingrich, Romney and Cain In Dead Heat (11/14/2011 1:52:15 PM)

They've all got issues, Lucy. The damn RNC has had 7 years to find someone who isnt a total fuckwit and they couldn't do it.

Lucylastic -> RE: Gingrich, Romney and Cain In Dead Heat (11/14/2011 2:07:11 PM)

well I still contend they dont WANT to find anyone they dont want the responsibility.

Hillwilliam -> RE: Gingrich, Romney and Cain In Dead Heat (11/14/2011 2:16:41 PM)

That's my 'tinfoil hat side' thinking.  I think the RNC actually wants Obama to win again so they can play obstructionist games for 4 years and take over in '16.

They don't give a fuck about the country (neither does the DNC).  All they want is power and we're just a bunch of pawns in the game.

Lucylastic -> RE: Gingrich, Romney and Cain In Dead Heat (11/14/2011 2:27:59 PM)

mine too William, :)
I agree without tongue in cheek

What if I'm not in a dream state ? Will you still hug me ?

The rest of your post does not make any sense to me.   None of these candidates can really do anything about the economy in any official capacity.
Perry seems to have done ok in his state.  Bauchman and Paul have helped the economy in so much as opposing Obama's mischief.

Ya mean as in a great big conspiracy to keep us all at each others throats thinkin my guy is fightin for me and it's not his fault the place is fallin apart ??

So we're all a bunch of cheer leaders for a bunch of crooks who got us all duped ???

tazzygirl -> RE: Gingrich, Romney and Cain In Dead Heat (11/14/2011 3:19:30 PM)

Would you want it?

Problem is, its going to be another 4 years of "no".

Even if Romney does get it, Rubio will likely turn down the VP slot,  as he has said when asked the question, and there is no way I would bet money on it.  I think in the end Gingrich will have said things that are so profound, as he has over the years,  people are going to perk up, listen and take a closer look. When they do they will buy into his candidacy.

If that question was for me than no I wouldn't want it if it meant 4 more years of Obama.  I'm not sure I mind no depending on what we're sayin no to.
