Thanks, marie, I swear that, I actually managed to refrain from firing a salve that would have sunken his desert ship

Assuming he meant 'salvo' rather than 'salve' - a shot from cannon rather than a healing unguent - one might wonder how he could make such an obvious mistake. Was he thinking of his days as a medic in the Vietnam war, or is he simply too inbred to know the difference?

I personally found your posts to be quite amusing.  I don't support anything that even  *smells*  like bigotry;  and  considering the entire string and where your sentiments are coming from, I did not take your post to be a dig at an entire people, country, or culture, but rather a well-deserved slap in the face to a particular person who has done nothing but insult and degrade the females on this string.   :::applause::::

So, it is not considered to be racist to refer to arabs as "camel jockeys" or that their speech is derived from the vocalisations of their animals, nor is it bigoted to suggest that arabs (or "scarabs") fondle their nephews' gonads or that they rape domesticated animals.

How very strange, for such comments would be perceived anywhere else in the world as being racially inflammatory or even calculated to incite racial hatred.

Still, you're posting from America, where it is considered to be part of one's freedom of expression for people to don white, conical hoods and to erect a blazing cross outside some nigger's property. And that's not racist or bigoted either, is it?

It would be better to let others determine if the support for such blatent bigotry by certain women proves that they are even capable of rational thought or whether that might tend to support my hypothesis that the repeated hormonal onslaught of menstruation has addled their wits.

Blah, blah, blah, dropped syntax, a salvo or tube of salve, erratic grammer license, and "Yes" a tour in the RVN as a Medic, I'm guilty of the aforementioned and mucho more, but you dang sure didn't hear Me utter the N' word which seemed to flow so easily from your pen.
 sheikh, BITE ME !
you have nothing further to say that will convience Me that you're anything other than a mixture of dung, caa caa, doo doo, dookie and camels milk.

You seem to have forgotten to stick out your tongue, put your thumb to your nose or to blow a raspberry at me.

Still, your second childhood will not last for ever.

nor do I appreciate the veiled insult.

What "veiled insult"?

What is wrong with expressing a hope that you might soon recover from whatever it might be that seems to have afflicted you?

And have you tried syrup of figs?

You may as well give it up.  Forget the "veiled" part, because it really isn't.  The time span of a week to "feel better" (whatever that means) indicates that you apparently think I'm "suffering" some sort of affliction that has to do with being female.  Given your previous posts, that's obviously a reference to menstruation.

Does syrup of figs help alleviate "wimmins' problems"?

Do you have a fixation on that for some reason?

Only in so far as it seems adversely to affect their ability to think straight and thereby require male guidance in their everyday life. But in most of western society, women make the fatuous claim to be equal to men and some even claim to be superior; worse, men seem to have acquiesced to this nonsense!

I do enjoy a good block party

KennelDeSade2 -> RE: Is BDSM to popular (6/4/2006 8:14:44 AM)

We are getting trendy, no question.  It's something worth noting that one evening I was writing a rant on submissives with ill mannered or combative profiles.  Towards the end I went to find a few profiles to use as "bad examples" and after looking for what was so plentiful earlier, I coul now find none.

Then I noticed that from an earlier 18-99 setting, I had returned to my default of 35-99,  and in so doing, discovered something very interesting about age and manners.

zumala -> RE: Is BDSM to popular (6/4/2006 9:12:40 AM)

*chuckles*  And yet I recieved a message from you, KennelDeSade2, about how well-mannered and well-spoken I am (Thank you for the compliment, by the way).  My 29th birthday is tomorrow, so I'm still below the age range of 35-99.  [:)]  That said, I think manners and behavior are an individual thing, really.  Either your parents (or someone else) taught you the correct way to behave, or they didn't.  I suppose some folks with bad manners may eventually realize that's why others don't react well to them and work to improve.

I suppose one can link good manners to maturity, but one's age cannot be used to indicate maturity.  I have seen very mature 18-year-olds and some extremely rude and immature 50-year-olds.  It all depends upon the individual in question, IMHO.

KennelDeSade2 -> RE: Is BDSM to popular (6/4/2006 10:55:37 AM)

I disagree on where manners are learned, and feel that they can either be beat into you as a child when it's easiest, or you can learn them as an adult and you have the drive to put your hand on the ladder and climb up out of the slime.
The powerless have no need or in many cases no use for manners. The energy manners take to acquire and maintain is beyond the ability of their wretched hand to mouth existences to support. But, if you gain power, you learn manners. Or, you don't have power very long, because manners is an expression of self control adopted by the powerful and the intelligent to keep from having to kill each other over small slights and unintentional insults. You can climb up and join the club, but unless you have the self control of which manners is one of the more visible extensions, you have a sign on your forehead that says “I'm not ready for to play with the big kids yet, throw me back.”
Good manners are always good form, because they show that you respect others enough to treat them as people of resources, until they prove themselves otherwise. How the current cult of “yo bitch, and farting as a fashion statement” ever got to become common currency, I'm truly amazed about.
I do hope one day that members of that cult will realize how badly they where mislead and just before they embark on developing manners, they line up those responsible against a brick wall and . . . well, make an example of them that will not be soon forgotten.
Good manners, makes for civilized society. With the choices being civilized or animals, we should be smart enough it's not a choice that requires much thought.
