I see your point, I guess I was talking more about the site itself doing the verification. You sign up you get a note in your email that says, "wear something blue and include the word banana in your photo" and then you could get a little star in your profile that says "verified". The instruction could be randomized the same way it is with "capcha". Then all you would need is a person going through the new members and seeing if their photo matched the random instruction they were given.

There are anywhere from 600 to 1000 new members EVERY DAY. Sorry hoss, that ain't gonna happen.

I guess what you all are saying then, is there really is no way to prevent some 65 year old male ballerina with a beard longer then Grizzly Adams', from pretending to be my dream girl and sending me messages with a profiel pic like "ATMvacuum" for example??? Is that what you are saying???

I'd have to agree with this. At this point, there just isn't a foolproof way to verify that I have seen. I'm awesome with photoshop, I could probably put together something that would con a lot of people out of cash or time.

Don't you think AlchemicalMaster that scamming would actually go up? If there was a false sense of security in the site's verification system and people were able to beat it, but people believed it protected them....they'd be believing that the 22 year old with the hot body did indeed want to come out to live with them as a no limits slave and they' send 'her' money thinking "Well hell, it's got to be true if CM verified her."

Ballerina Bob is gonna be contemplating about what the dispossession of your ripped off nutsacks are gonna be over this shit, dudes and dudettes.

LaTigresse -> RE: reporting fake profiles ? (12/6/2011 1:42:56 PM)

Exactly. I have made many friends here. A few I've even let into my inner circle. A select few, I've even talked to on the phone (I hate talking on the phone so that really is a big deal).

Oh sure, I haven't met the slave of my dreams but that really isn't what I came here for in the first place. I haven't a lot of faith in the whole concept of internet dating.

kaido79 -> RE: reporting fake profiles ? (12/6/2011 1:52:09 PM)

I have been caught out now by about 4 profiles claming to be dominant women from certain parts of the world, all with photos etc but turned out to be a dodgy little scammer in the Phillipines. They all want to immediately jump onto Yahoo messenger. One of them gave me a link which installed a keylogger on my computer before they asked me to send them some money. Luckily by this stage, I knew what was going on. Anyway, I know this is a free site, but illegally scamming people for money aint fair and some people will get caught up. I have reported all of the fake profiles but they only remove them if there is multiple reports from other users and so far only 1 of the scammers proifiles has been removed.

Ninebelowzero -> RE: reporting fake profiles ? (12/6/2011 1:54:40 PM)

Last year I was on a pay UK site, same bullshitter, wannabee wanker ratio as here, just not the numbers. Guess what?

I met zilch from that site. I have from here. Also a far better class of laughs here too.

Yeah that sucks but I'm so glad that they don't remove 'fake' profiles right off the bat when they are reported. Who is to say that can't be abused? Women on here get all kinds of shit for not blowing every guy that says he wants it, if DrivebyDom wants a bj and gets turned down, and then reports that person's profile as being fake, then she pays the price of any guy at all that wants to push a button. Do you want people to have that much power over you?

Think this through, how the hell does the admin here know if what you are saying is true or if you've got a hardon for these women and just want them off the site? What if someone got a bug up their butt about you and reported you for not going to their yahoo site? Don't you really see how hard it would be to call illegal scamming on just about anyone and have it be airtight? You caught on, that's all you really need to do. Why make the site police things for you? It says fucking right at the top of the email page DO NOT SEND ANYONE CASH. If you do then you're at fault. Honestly, do you call the police everytime you need to cross the street and make them check it out for you? You're an adult, act like one. I'm not generally a bitch, but this is really stupid. Yes, there are people in the world that will take your money each and every single day, not just here, anywhere. So go forth and watch out for them.

Why do people on this site suspend their normal sense of reason and why the hell do they want to be babysat? Does one store cost more than another - then it's your job to find the best price right? When you buy a car do you just buy one off the lot or do you put in some thought and watch out for a shifty salesperson trying to sneak in a bad brake situation under your nose? Fucking people take advantage, this site is no different than the rest of life. There are no true safeguards that will protect you from the bad guys. Grow up.
Jesus.

So basically, some that get caught up are innocent victims? I hardly think so. They are looking for something, most often, foolishly so and willingly send money or join things that they think will pay off in what they want... which is normally, some wild kinky sex in some form. If by the age of adulthood, they haven't learned people will cheat you, set you up and take what you give seeking what you want and you don't just get something for nothing or quickly get something... then its time they learned. Why should a site or anyone else be burdened with helping them continue to be ignorant and foolish by babysitting them? We all see the news... we all know there are bad people wanting what is yours and we all know there are silly folks that will hand it right over... that's why the bad guys are out there.

So... the way to fix it is... you silly folks looking for a quick something or other... stop fucking sending your money and blaming others for your own lacks of good judgment and the tempering of your fetish needs. YOU are to blame for the freaks out there scamming because you pay them to do it! If you didn't, they might find another job.

@ killerangel - we are only here sharing our experiences etc. It's forums like this which help the naive and no I've never given money but I know alot of people like to tribute and would be good to warn them when the person they are tributing is actually a guy in the philippines and not a sexy dominant women in London for example. And yes it is a good thing the site doesn't remove a profile after the first complaint - I was just pointing out my experience for those that were in doubt. If the police ignored every complaint they got and put it down to a stupid victim, then the world would be in a poor state. Jesus alright.

Lockit -> RE: reporting fake profiles ? (12/6/2011 2:26:50 PM)

When did untempered horniness become naivety?

1. I didn't really get that you were trying to warn people, it seemed like a personal rant. If someone is on the internet then they should have some idea that it's not all true. The first thing you are confronted with are the '1,000,000th visitor click here!' ads where you are supposed to win something. We all got over that right? If someone really really doesn't understand that there are people out there that will take their money they don't deserve access to a computer because they will get scammed all day long by the crap that's out there. Life is rough sometimes but you suck it up and become wiser or you get poorer. Should we call the police because we didn't get the 1,000,000th visitor Ipod prize? They'd laugh right?

2. We're not really comparing the same things here, of course police shouldn't blame the victim of a real crime. Is it a real crime if you give some random guy your wallet or is it a crime if he takes it? The scammers are being given money, that's a poor judgement call on the person giving it. These same people probably know how to comparison shop at the store to save money and yet when they come here they fall over themselves believing the most silly things ever, and want it so bad that they send money. Whose fault is that? It isn't a crime if you're giving out the dough willingly. Yes, the police should police in the case where the law is broken, where men are giving out money its not so clear is it? Where is personal accountability in this situation of scammers and such? Lockit was right, if the guys out there would stop being silly and giving out the money the problem wouldn't exist.

MasterEarl675 -> RE: reporting fake profiles ? (12/6/2011 3:14:49 PM)

One of the best tools I have found to detect fakes, if they put up a pic, is,
www.tineye.com
you can set it up so you just click on a pic and it will tell you if/where online the photo can be found,, it amazing who many porn star we have among us,,,,LOL,,, my experience has been about 50% of profile pic here are fake,,,

tazzygirl -> RE: reporting fake profiles ? (12/6/2011 3:44:27 PM)

Many here use that program. [;)]

If you had all of us men submit a cock shot and include the word VAA in the profile, would that be easier for you?

stellauk -> RE: reporting fake profiles ? (12/6/2011 4:02:07 PM)

Having just skimmed part of the thread ...

I was going to write something else but having come across posts from male doms whining about fakes yet again just wanted to make the following points.

1. If you can't be arsed to take responsibility and make your own decisions over who is suitable for you, how are you going to sustain a relationship?

2. Again, with such an attitude, how do you cope with being an adult?

MusicalBoredom -> RE: reporting fake profiles ? (12/6/2011 4:29:22 PM)

I offer my assistance VAA.  I will accept blows job from all the new female subs that are at least somewhat cute.  I will attest to their skills as the official CM BJ rating.

TheFireWithinMe -> RE: reporting fake profiles ? (12/6/2011 4:37:35 PM)

How very unselfish of you. You must be one of those real true Dom's I hear about.
