I believe we all have some latent feelings in us which makes us a dom or a sub and it comes out in open when a certain incident happens in our life.. in my case it happened in my school days when we guys lost a few matches to the girls team in the usual boys vs girls sports tussles ..after the defeat the usual bragging contuined and and we guys were badly humilated every time we lost to the girls( at certain age the girls are stronger then the guys).. this left a lasting effect on me  and even till date i love watching wherever some kind of battle of sexes is played whether it is sports or in your work place or in a reality tv show ..as a sub i dont mind when girls beat guys ..
My questions to the forum are--
(1) Do most people like battle of the sexes or not..
(2) Have you ever watched or been a part of Battle of the sexes..
(3) Being a male sub and I can also think about female dommes that they like when girls win but do female subs too cheer for the girls..
(4) Do male doms like these events and dont mind females competing against males..
(5) And finaly did any real life incident happened where doms or subs latent feelings came out in open..

I can understand that  you love challenges but here what i meant was how do you feel during battle between the genders and is it different then other challenges.. does it create a different kind of feeling..

Not something I have given much thought to, but I would have to say, not really interested in battling any sex...lol

2) Have you ever watched or been a part of Battle of the sexes
If you mean have a played boys at games when I was younger and won? Yes. If you are talking some sort of kink, I have never heard of it before and would be nterested in hearing more

3) Being a male sub and I can also think about female dommes that they like when girls win but do female subs too cheer for the girls..
I cheer for anyone I care for, not much into competition. I watch survivor and I am not rooting for women more than men when I watch that.... so I would have to say "no" again.

(5) And finaly did any real life incident happened where doms or subs latent feelings came out in open..
Not that I am aware of. I never let boys win for example and I used to play BBall with boys because I was too aggressive to play with girls. It was like I was a different person when I played that game. I love playing all through high school and made the girl's team and quit. I was quite good and boys would "pick" me first when selecting teams. I never thought it related to my submissiveness.

The only time I think I find the very specific "Battle of the Sexes" something where I take a definite side or will route for one or the other is when one group is being egregiously ignorant or insulting, either in taunts or in their very stance.... I always seem to want them to get their ass kicked.

So its never a gender thing then ..But generally in such kind of sports matches in the stadiums i have often seen girls cheering the girls teams and vice versa..

hmm.. as to that, I think it might be just that.. from a physical perspective.. say a woman's baseball team vs a mans... they have a very real physical disadvantage ... and if they are doing a good job of overcoming that, well, doesn't everyone like to route on an underdog who is doing well?

Then again.. go to a beach volleyball game of guys vs girls.. and er.. I think you will find a great number of  women and men routing for the opposite sex.. if just for the sheer appreciation of all those glistening, gorgeous bodies in action... hehe

Thanks for the feed back and i totally agree girls are thought as under dogs and most people cheer for them
though these days girls are no less but you dint answer my other ques-is battle of sexes more intresting then same gender competitions and have you ever been  involved in one ..
As a male sub i always loved when i saw female domination and wanted to know whether a gender cheers for the same gender or do we cheeer as doms and subs like me ..

Oh, sorry...

No, unless someone is being an ass I don't enjoy them more than  unisex competition. And lordy no, I am not the sort of girl who gets chosen to particpate in sporty battles!

I dont define people - and I do not believe in male or female superiority (*sp?).
Sex/creed/religion/race/sexuality arguments on who is better than who I find abhorant - everything is equal - we are born screaming(mostly) and we die - so battle of the sexes are a waste of time to me.
Some women are stronger than some men and some men are stronger than some women.
Generalizations are for those unable to accept others opinions.
Swings and roundabouts.

I have to say I have never seen people vying for females over men, just whoever they support.

And if 'everyone' has 'latent feelings in us which makes us a dom or a sub and it comes out in open when a certain incident happens in our life..' is true - how do you account for switches - and why are some highly successful businessmen/women submissive and some PAs dominant? I am not sure if I understand that statement.  Would You care to explain?

So you think that stronger person rules ..

Thats what i mean to say successful people being submissives  and their PAs being dominant makes me think that success has nothing to do with it and it has to be the  latent gene some where in us which comes up in open when that certain instance triggers in our lives and we accept and start enjoying the role of a sub or a dom and that too to in such a degree that we find vanilla as a boring option and that same successful person who is in position of control and giving orders wants to be humilated and controlled by his intimate partner..has to be genes..

I went to school in a place where boys and girls were kept totally seperate. There were technically boys there, but we had different lessons, different break times, different canteens and even different entrances and corridors. It was like this from age 7 upwards so the boys to us were this mysterious race. On the occassions when we did compete in sport or similar (not often, because the boys played sports that weren't appropriate for us young ladies) we were usually not so much interested in proving our gender was better as mixing as much as possible with the boys while we had the chance. The schools however seemed to constantly be competing in some way. I remember being told many times that the girl's school always did better in exams that boys and we were pressured to keep that up.
So the battle of the sexes does nothing for me. Now that I'm a grown up and I am actually allowed to mix with boys and men, I'm old enough to appreciate that we're different, but that neither one of us is better. If anything I find the battle of the sexes as a theme for TV shows and competitions is a little worn out and overdone now.

I cheer for the girls out of fellow feeling.  And I cheer for the guys because they're cute.  I cheer for the underdogs, whoever they are, because I feel sorry for them.

So long as it's not the Brisbane Broncos, I'll cheer for practically anyone.

It doesn't really float my boat. I'm not much into pitting people against each other based on gender. I think we have enough of that in life without deliberately setting it up as entertainment.

(2) Have you ever watched or been a part of Battle of the sexes..

Yes. I watch inter-gender matches on wrestling all the time. I don't view them as specifically male vs. female as much as I see them as wrestler vs. wrestler.

Being a female Dominant, I don't necessarilly cheer for the female. I enjoy seeing the  person I like more win. If I like the opponents equally, I'll probably cheer for the underdog. Gender really has no bearing.

I can't speak for male Doms.

Intresting answers .. "we have enough of battle of sexes scenarios in real life"..could you specift if possible..
So the intergender matches in wrestling intrest you irrespective of the fact who is the winner.. the idea of inter gender wrestling is yummy..anyways lots of us do playfite during the sex..

No idea about most people, but personally it holds no attraction whatsoever

(2) Have you ever watched or been a part of Battle of the sexes..

If you mean some sort of boys against the girls sports event, yes of course, I am pretty sure everybody was once or twice while in school, especially since many schools seem to like staging them. If you mean in the workplace, then no, but I do not partake of office politics.

No idea....I will have to read their replies to find out

(4) Do male doms like these events and dont mind females competing against males..

Can't speak for the other male doms, but they hold no interest for me due to it being a gender-mixed event, and no I don't care if women compete against men or not.

I don't really understand what you are asking here, sorry.
