Indeed it does. I only catch splash over from Sanity when other people quote him, but the extremist are some of the ones I have removed from my forum reality. If it were only so easy in congress though. The more incendiary an issue is, the more compromise and finding common ground is important, to effect a solution. This is where I get pissed at the cheerleaders. It is kind of like when you separate two people that were in a fist fight, you are getting them to calm down and talk, then a few start chanting "Fight, Fight, fight." because that is really all they are interested in. The problem I have is that I do not see any solutions, because of the mentality of those involved in politics. We need conservatives, liberals, and everything in between to get as many perspectives as possible when working on a solution. We need honest, intellectual discourse on these issues to discuss all the possible solutions. Those that detract from this route, are as much a problem as anything, because they are not pushing for a solution, but for a fight. quote:
