Dear Santa,

I think Greedy has been such a good girl she should get her wish
and get a Humor forum again.  Some naughty mod who took the last one.

So now we have to sneak humor into Off topic and Polls and other places.
It would be nice to share Humor forum again.

Dear Santa,

I would like for OUtlier to have the biggest telescope available (yes, a TELESCOPE, ya pervs) so that he can watch the stars and sky stuff firsthand.

I would also like for the family down the street to have help this year... the parents work hard, but she just lost her job, and they have three kids (all under 10).

I would also like all my friends to find what they most need to be happy.

and I would like for you, Santa, to have a FANTASTIC YEAR!! *smooch*

While I'm waiting for my perfect (for me) guy could I have one of the slightly crispy around the edges? I know that patience is a virtue but geez it's been...a while if you know what I mean.

Fire

Fire,
I know you've been waiting for what seems like forever.  But I'd feel really bad if I gave you some guy that you'd settle for, not the perfect guy for you.  Remember there are a few of your fellow sistahs who waited quite awhile to find their perfect guy and these ones started off as friendships.  Don't give up hunny, you know he'll come to you when you least expect it.

While you're waiting, maybe I could send you a huge coffee cup that Mrs S. could make you?  One that would be personalized and remind you never to give up?  I'm sure that would cheer you up.  I can also send a supply of batteries for your BOBs, assuming you have some.  At least they don't talk back, you don't have to feed them and you don't have to watch sports on TV all the time or clean their dirty dishes and unnerpance!   [;)]

But, but Saaanta this would be only to tide me over til perfect guy comes along. Surely there is one that Mrs S didn't burn too badly?

One of the reasons I adore you is your generosity. I read your post and the tears started to flow. This was meant to be a funny, light hearted thread... and it has been.. and lots of fun.

I posted to GotSteel about the spirit of Christmas. If I lived close to you, I would probably be in jail christmas eve for smuggling gifts to those children, simply because im not stealthy that way.

Reading your post was like a kick in the stomach. Dont read that as a bad thing, its not. I was so caught up in my own misery that I forgot the miseries of those who deserve them the least... the children.

Thank you, dear Lady, for the reminder. Time to search for an angel tree.

Outlier,
I agree.  I wish it were under my control to give Greedy back her Humour forum again.  I can only take it to the Admins/Mods and see what I can do.  Santa is magical, but there's only so much he can do when he's not the owner of the website.

Dear Greedy, your generous spirit is well known to Santa.  I will do my best to make sure Outlier gets his telescope so that he can watch the sky and the stars, planets and other thingies up there.  It's beautiful when I get to deliver the gifts on Christmas Eve/early Christmas morning.  Santa loves to ride through the Milky Way.

As for your neighbours down the road, rest assured that Santa is well aware of their situation and will ensure that the children get gifts and that a supper will also be provided.  I have connections with the right organizations to make sure they enjoy a Happy Holiday.  I'll also try to help the wife get a new job so that they can go back to not having to worry about finances.

You, my dear, are quite the softie and Santa is very impressed with your generosity towards others.  You're one of Santa's favorite people and will always hold a special place in my heart.  Hopefully, we'll meet some day and I'll personally reward you *ahem* for being *you*.

ETA:  All your friends will be taken care of, be it a gift or a request for special arrangements in difficult situations.  I'd also like to thank you for taking the time to wish me a Happy Holiday.  By the 26th, I'm on my way to a warm spot, to lay on the sand and relax for about a month.  I take the elves and the reindeer with me, they've worked hard also.

This year, I'm heading to the closest Fetty Bord Center, Mrs S. will get to dry out, the rolling pin will stay at home, and we'll un-souse her for as long as possible.  She'll be well looked after in a tropical paradise, and I'll get to rest my achin' noggin.  Hopefully, the bumps and lumps will go down quickly.

Fire

My sweetest Fire,
I'll take a look at who Mrs S. is baking and try to obtain one of her less burnt crispy critters.  Some do deserve to be thrown out, she's made such a mess of things.  If she starts baking in the morning, then some aren't too bad, just a little crispy on the edges.  As the day goes by, well, she's got the 'nog hidden where I can't find it, and those darned elves aren't telling me where she's keeping it.  So between that, the rumballs and the dangnabbit fruitcake, the more she bakes during the day, the more she burns.

I can't wait until the Holidays are over, cuz Fetty Bord Center, here she comes.  I've kept that from the elves and the Reindeer so that she doesn't find out.  It's a tough time here when she's playing Dominant to the elves, who love it.  And she's getting the reindeer addicted to the rumballs is getting out of control.  Rudolph's nose is a lot redder than it should be and not in a good way.  I hope they're sober for delivery night or Santa's going to be doing a lot of bouncing, silly reindeers get the hiccups when they're sozzled, and it's no fun, lemme tellya!

tazzy

Tazzy,
You know Santa has a soft spot for those who help others.  You're a dear for taking the time to find an Angel Tree.  Santa tries very hard to ensure every child gets a gift, regardless of their home situation.  He wants everyone happy on Christmas Eve/Day and always thanks the special people who go out of their way to help those less fortunate.

This is still a light-hearted thread, no boglins have shown up and it's been kept really clean of boglinning.  I'm so happy about that.  But we've had a few people make serious requests, and I'm doing my best to make sure their wishes are granted.  Be it about an ex-spouse who is out of control, or a member asking for a quiet and boring holiday.

I love everyone here who has made a request or is making a special effort to help those who need it.  Please know that Santa is especially grateful for all of you who have taken time to write.  Santa and the Holiday spirit are in the mind and the heart.  As long as you keep believing, I'll be here for all those who request gifts, or make special requests.

Love to all,
Santa and Mrs S.

Dear Santa. This year, I want a thinner body and a fatter bank account. Please don't get it ass backwards like you did last year.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Dear Santa (11/29/2011 1:06:07 PM)

What is a boglin?

Hi, I'm Hib, you might remember me, I'm the one with the great ass who was helping you at a July party one year.

Anyway, a dear friend of mine lost her dad recently, and since it's seeming to be a med-mal, well, yanno...so if you are dishing out happy dreams and patience for dealing with insane family members, she could do with some extra. You would not BELIEVE her SIL and the creature she raised...

GreedyTop -> RE: Dear Santa (11/29/2011 1:31:10 PM)

Dear Santa: Lotsa good clients for Hibbie would seriously kick ass!! (and, of course, mega goodies for both Hibbie and Jeddie!!)

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Dear Santa (11/29/2011 1:31:58 PM)

Indeed! Jed is always on the lookout for interesting things to beak!

SoulAlloy -> RE: Dear Santa (11/29/2011 3:40:54 PM)

Dear Santa,

I would like everyone to have a Happy Christmas this year. it's a lot to ask I know, and I know you have a naughty list for coal, but just for this one day I would like everyone to feel that moment of contentment. This Christmas will be the first I have spent on my own, so I will feel better knowing that others are enjoying it.

As ever I will share a bottle of whiskey with you this x-mas eve, even if I always seem to fall asleep before you finish your glass,

Have a wonderful boxing day and hope Mrs Claus treats you well,

Soul Alloy

PS my son has a boglin, I will send lady hib a picture later :p

pssst, dear santa, for hibbies jeddie, i have a really really really big (i think about 10 kilo) bunya pine nut. a few of those kernals to open would keep him amused for WEEKS!

hausboy -> RE: Dear Santa (11/29/2011 9:16:23 PM)

Dear Santa--
I've written you a lot of notes over the years and hung by them by my tube sock....er....christmas stocking by the tree.  Impressive in and of itself, given I'm a Jew turned Agnostic.
Oh, as a youth my requests were all material-driven.  These days I have no use for material things. I'd ask for another kitty but the two Maine Coons I have are already eating everything in the house and I couldn't support another one. Having good health is great but I know that's completely out of Santa's control, too.  A bigger penis would be great, but it seems like most of the guys are very attached to theirs, so I don't think Ill have much luck with that, either.

See...I've been a really good boy this year.....well, mostly a good boy.  well.....a good boy.... most of the time...well, some of the time....uh, well.... okay so I've been a bit of a bad boy this year but I've already gotten my bum paddled really hard because of it, so a lump of coal is kinda academic at this point. Anyway, I think my good deeds outweighed the naughty ones so if that puts me on the nice list, I do have one special wish for you Santa..

a keychain.

and not for the spare house key for the cat sitter...or the plumber........it's the key for her.
You know who she is....right?  I don't.  But I'm ready to meet her now.  It's been 4 years since my divorce, and now I'm at that place where I think I'm able to trust again.  Ready for the woman that is going to make me laugh again.  The woman that I'll want to call in the middle of the day to share funny bits.  The woman that I can take around the world with me who won't make fun of me when I cry in front of a beautiful painting....or get excited about Gothic architecture....who will understand my passion .... who will realize that possessions are nothing and the experience is everything. A woman who can live in the moment.

The woman who will let me be vulnerable in her arms.... who will love me unconditionally....who will take pride in me being her man in public, and boy behind closed doors....a woman who I can serve as she deserves....a woman who will inspire me to be better every day.

I want a woman that will open the iron cage around my heart.  It's been locked long enough. I think I'm ready to open the chamber now.  But to do that...she'll need the key.  Which I hold.  But to give it to her....   I'll also need.....
a keychain.

Maybe this year, Santa?  Maybe I'll need that keychain this year?
sincerely,
haus
