Neither. I like a nice short conservative haircut on men.

Depends on the guy for me.  I am not that partial to guys who have long hair but shoulder length to me isn't long hair.  I am partial many times to guys with no hair.  So it all depends for me.

Depends on the man. Of course, if you want my personal opinion on whether you should or shouldn't... you need to come to my house. hehe

it depends on the hair and whether it suits the person really. my playmate has his very short at the mo, as it was when we met. however, last winter he grew it out so that it looked somewhat like robert downey jnr in sherlock holmes. i loved being able to get my hands in it and of course comes in very handy for pulling him closer. sadly he then shaved it all off again. he used to have much longer hair and i'd loved to have known him then and got my hands in it.

I keep threatening to cut my mans hair in his sleep.
He seems to think growing it out will turn him into Drago. ><

Give me shorter hair any day.

Depends on the man. While I do tend to be mostly attracted to the shaggy, scruffy types, I've been attracted to bald guys, short haired guys, thin guys, beefy guys. Biker dudes, construction workers, executives, and bookish professors. :p It really depends on the person.

No offense to anyone...
I find longer hair on guys more feminine.
If they have a small waist and a nice ass... and add long hair in to boot... when looking from behind you can't always know if its a guy or girl.
Plus when cuddling, its hard enough making it so my hair isn't in my way or his way... you add in his hair not getting in my way and his way and it takes away precious moments of my cuddling time!

I like short hair because it's...conservative..I like conservative men. Short hair is better for getting a job, it usually leads to a more stable life because of a more stable job.

Long hair says to me that they probably work in a type of business that I would find unappealing or they can't hold a job at all.

And men who start to grow their hair long after they hit 40 or 45 screams mid-life crisis...ugh.

Long hair all the way. I cry a little every time I think about not being able to have long hair because of my job T.T

Heh, guess I'd better tell the medical residents with longish hair to cut it. I think you're right - to a point. There are professions where relatively long hair is acceptable, healthcare being one of them at least here, as long as it's styled and neat. Long hair does not necessarily say unable to get/keep a job.

Personally I prefer a man who wears his hair whatever length suits him. Looking good is more important than length.

I once met a man that I had seen in the news paper running for the senate. He had long hair. He was a neurologist, surgeon and amazing man! He didn't win because of his hair and being an unknown at the time. I later met him and he had cut his hair. I was sorry to see that, because he was being forced to conform. He was an amazing doctor, saved my ass and many in my family and was a true Patch Adams, freedom rider, great family man, beloved and respected by all that knew him.

He was running for congress when he was killed doing a charity bike ride through the city of Loveland Co. when a police officer waved him to continue on and a car he didn't see hit him. Long hair or short... we lost a great man that day. They blew bubbles at his funeral. He kept his job and sought others to help our society... until he was killed.

Woooow that's so sad, Lockit :(
And I agree, Fire. Whatever looks best.
My late M had hair down his back, and always climbed well, no matter the job. Passionate and dedicated to everything he did.
My art history professor was dreamy - tall, bald, amazing profile, and relentlessly passionate about art.

thanks for all the replies so far! i am enjoying this thread.

right now i'm going kind of feral with shaggy hair and a burgeoning beard. it's funny how here in the midwest other dudes don't know just how to respond to that, because beards are butch and virile but long hair is still considered slightly effeminate. i also bench around 200, which only further complicates the issue of how other dudes relate to me. i mean i'm not saying that to brag, just mentioning, casually, that i bench around 200 pounds.

i can definitely see the employment issue vis a vis shaggy hair. i am pretty lucky because i have an awesome job at which i am pretty well entrenched so i have more liberty than the average 30something white dude to indulge my aesthetic whims.

Yes it was Lilly... I cried for a week. I can still cry about it when I think too long on it. I would do well to have a man half the man he was. God, I would be in heaven and would be pulling his hair!

It depends on the day. Today I'm going to say that I am partial to a man with facial hair of some sort. Stubble is fine. Stubble feels good.
