Those that are raping are not doing it for political or dissent reasons, there is no rape party forming in the united states.
Unfortunately, the large gatherings and campouts the OWS is doing brings the opportunistic detrius of our society in contact with these people, and the disgusting and mindless teabagging neo-cons are trying to make political crapola bites by putting the blame on OWS ideals and efforts. Rather than finding and prosecuting the actual perpetrators, (this could be a good opportunity to do operation round-ups, and get some real criminals off the street, but why waste a good crisis, yeah?)
It would be much like say, someone claiming that the reason that the inept republican congress has nothing but put america on even unsounder footings and destroying america is because they were too busy propositioning each other in the minneapolis airport, and thats why they had the police elsewhere, so they could do their little thing unimpeded.
Now given the mordantly perverse message being put out by neo-con louts, it is not politically wise to keep on with the campouts in their present form, but then the OWS does not have me as a political consultant, to straighten this smear out, so....what you gonna do?
