I don't usually post on the message boards here, but I have a question I think only a domme could answer. A lady friend of mine and I are looking into what strapon to buy, and I want to know which one is the best in terms of pleasure for the wearer. Thanks for any and all help!

Generally, the Feeldoe line i

s the least favorite, that attachment dealio is like sitting on a light bulb. Otherwise, what you get as a wearer is hit or miss, IMO. The ones that have a space for a bullet vibe are fun for both.

Www.blowfish.com is a fab site with excellent reviews, check them out.

(I have a nexus, the black marbled one, and like it, though strap on sex does zero for me in terms oof *physical* stimulation)

To me at least the harness is really important. I have had some awful ones before having one specially made in soft leather with buckles that don't grind into my hips. during action. A harness needs to fit very snugly and be nice and tight. It needs to have easily interchangeable rings that will fit tightly round the dildo. There is nothing worse than thick harsh leather that is difficult to tighten. Mine has been in repeated use now for five years and is probably the most important thing in my toy box. Not surprisingly it was a lesbian that designed and made mine.

I prefer the thong style as they keep the right amount of friction against the mons venus for the wearer also... mine is a heavy weight latex beast from Aslan Leather in Canada. LOVE it

Aslan has the best harness''s
but then Im biased:) I still use Her rubber Jock harness with a feeldoe
works just great, and adjust real nice with gain/loss over the last 8 years

The Nexus works very well for me used with a lowrider style harness such as the Jaguar or the Texas Two Strap...

I am a professional domina ... and although I would never ever use a strapon in my professional practice ... in my private life I have developed a few opinions about strap ons ...

The fantasy of a strapon is far more powerful than the reality.

It is easier to control and manipulate using a dildo in the hand than one in the bush ! ;) So I might use the harness to look formidable and sexy ... but I would slip out of it when I am ready to penetrate my submissive. And then just use my hand to control the dildo with far more finesse than the awkward harness would allow.

And dear ones, please use a condom even on the dildo ... why??? so that you do not spread fecal matter from one hole to another ... PLAY SAFE! So unless every hole gets their very own toy, you need to always change condoms ...

Fortunately, strap-on technology has progressed, and fantasy can match reality.
I use strapons with vibes in the flared base and a belt/harness, with o-rings and, uh, straps, to keep the strap-on in place. I've never lost an impaled male yet!
And condoms by all means, but of course, more for clean-up since they only go in one man's hole. Ever. And of course, *he* does the clean-up, which somehow never gets mentioned in 'do-me' porn . . .

I have a lot of interest in this thread, and I'll definitely be taking into account all of the wonderful advice offered by the ladies on here who are experienced in using strap ons. Me being on the larger side makes me more cautious about finding the right one. I know there are some plus size ones out there, but I am very wary that even if I find one to fit my hips, etc, it won't necessarily be easy for me to use properly. Carry on with the great advice you lovely ladies.

I absolutely agree with you, I have far more fun with a handheld, though I think I (we) have a minority opinion! I find strap-on sex physcially difficult, maybe because my sacroiliac area is not fond of being used that way.

Actually, Hibi, I agree with you both on this one. I have two harnesses, I made them both, and use them rarely. Hands give so much more control.

I agree that using hand held is far better. I've got no rythm when it comes to strap-on use and my lower back screams at me too.
