has any one experienced this if so what happend?

What happened to me was really my own fault because I wasn't using common-sense safety precautions. I used to be a sub when I first entered BDSM-land years ago, and I played with a Dom without knowing him well. I told him ahead of time that I was a really new sub and had a low pain tolerance. He was cropping me REALLY frickin' hard and I used my safeword....THREE times....and he ignored me. Then I yelled "STOP IT!! RIGHT FUCKING NOW!!!" and he stomped off and said "Well THIS isn't gonna work!!" Even though I was in a lot of pain, I had to laugh at his reaction. It was really funny as hell to see this Dom stomp off like a spoiled little child who didn't get his way. [:D]

I went to a bar once and then met this kissogram outside, for some reason she started shouting humiliating names at me. She cuffed me and threw me in her car, took me to this big house and then took me to her mates place the next morning.

Anyhow her mate said it was a clear case of drunk and disorderly and fined me fifty quid. I didnt even get to cum !!!!!

[:(]

nuh-uh I think she wants to set up a network so that noone will ever have a bad experience and everyone will be safe.

And I'd never get a date.  [sm=river.gif]

Whoa, Melanie has had a major profile change since last month. She was a slave before with no limits, iirc.

Wonder what she will be next month? Especially since last month she was a no limits slave and now she "always want a sub." hmmmm....

ChatteParfaitt -> RE: Bad bdsm experiences (12/3/2011 6:20:33 PM)

On general principle, I am going to ignore the OP's past posts or whatever. It's a valid topic so let's deal with it.

Yes, I have had negative BDSM experiences. I would say anyone who has been doing this as long as me (30+ years) has had bad experiences.

Bad experiences are such that one inevitably seeks to know why they occurred.

When I have had bad experiences it is b/c I made bad choices. I learned through my bad experiences how to make better choices.

Now, I so strongly suspect the OP has a different agenda. But really it is very simple. Be emotionally healthy enough to make an excellent choice in a partner. I suspect you will have an excellent experience.

Remind me NOT to play with those people.   [:D]

myotherself -> RE: Bad bdsm experiences (12/4/2011 2:34:36 AM)

I had a bad experience once.

I met this guy who described himself as the baddest, scariest sadist in the entire universe.

Of course I couldn't resist him...so we met. We sat in the coffee shop, chatting away. He asked what I wanted to drink, and I said a latte. No sugar.

He brought them back - IT HAD SUGAR IN IT!!! The bastard made me drink the whole thing, despite me using my safeword multiple times.

I felt violated. [:(]

Whenready -> RE: Bad bdsm experiences (12/4/2011 2:46:02 AM)

Several people from various bdsm sites have had bad experiences me too,has any one experienced this if so what happend?By telling others it helps preventing it happening again.

Unfortunately it probably won't. If you analyse what went wrong in those particular circumstances and with that particular partner you can probably avoid a repeat. You can probably expand that into some general principles that work for you - but that doesn't guarantee that they'll work for anyone else. Change one variable (time. mood, weight of flogger, partner, what you had for dinner, tightness of knots, whatever...) and it's a different ballgame. Oh, gender probably makes a difference too (well - it does to me - ymmv) - wasn't the OP female last time I looked...?

DesFIP -> RE: Bad bdsm experiences (12/4/2011 4:24:45 AM)

Back when we were new, he tried humiliation on me to see my reaction. It was bad so he stopped and comforted me.

As far as telling the stupid things you've done, op, that isn't going to help anyone - least of all yourself. You need to do some major self work to find out why you agreed to stuff you knew you didn't like and why you picked a partner who wasn't trustworthy.

I ignored the red flag messages emanating from my gut and and went with the sub frenzy originating further south.

Note - never, ever, skip the vanilla meeting and head straight for play.

Now I trust my gut - I don't need empirical evidence to decide if someone is wrong for me.

I'm with someone now, but if I were looking, I'd give even more weight to his participation in the local scene, and would stifle my social anxiety and force myself go to munches and events to meet people rather than passively waiting for them to find me. My admittedly unscientific experience has shown that men active in the community are more likely to own their kink and have more technical knowledge, and that I am more likely to have a better experience emotionally and physically.

The Gift of Fear and Other Survival Signals that Protect Us From Violence

True fear is a gift. Unwarranted fear is a curse. Learn how to tell the difference.

A date won't take "no" for an answer. The new nanny gives a mother an uneasy feeling. A stranger in a deserted parking lot offers unsolicited help. The threat of violence surrounds us every day. But we can protect ourselves, by learning to trust—and act on—our gut instincts.

In this empowering book, Gavin de Becker, the man Oprah Winfrey calls the nation's leading expert on violent behavior, shows you how to spot even subtle signs of danger—before it's too late. Shattering the myth that most violent acts are unpredictable, de Becker, whose clients include top Hollywood stars and government agencies, offers specific ways to protect yourself and those you love, including...how to act when approached by a stranger...when you should fear someone close to you...what to do if you are being stalked...how to uncover the source of anonymous threats or phone calls...the biggest mistake you can make with a threatening person...and more. Learn to spot the danger signals others miss. It might just save your life.
