FR For those who just chalk birth control up to just being birth control, what about when its used for other problems? For example, i had suffered from PMDD since i was 13 years old. Every month for a week, i was in bed - sick, exhausted, depressed, and in horrid pain. I was given birth control when i was 20 to help with the problem. So let's see, that's 7 years, 1 week a month...84 weeks...21 months. So because of the PMDD, i have missed out on almost 2 years of living. Couldn't afford birth control since my parents were getting divorced so that means NO money, and the planned parenthood near me moved to another facility 2 cities away. I've tried nearly everything to help with the PMDD, except for getting my lady parts removed. The only pill that my body responds well to costs 98 bucks without insurance. Just been able to buy it under insurance 5 months ago. I've spent $3,038 on one medication, and i take 4 others that i've also just been able to buy under insurance. Its fucking expensive. So i shouldn't get help with that because it helps prevent women from getting pregnant?
