A question for Sanguinarians that are Sadistic, or have been on the consentual end of receiving Sadistic activities: Have any of you drank blood and performed / received Sadistic activities in the same "session"?

I have experience with both Sanguinaranism and Sadism, but I haven't incorperated them into the same "session".

If anybody on the forums has experience with this, how do you incorperate them into the same "session"?

Is it something you do regularly or just occasionally?

Any input is welcome. Thanks in advance for your posts.

I know, I was just being an asshole.

I didn't know there were many on here into sanguinarism. Actually, I've never known anyone into it. So really, I have nothing to add to this whatsoever.

LadyHib, I am not sure I have seen any of Sylvere's posts. I know there are a few other Sanguinarians on the site but haven't seen them post lately.

Considering that any form of blood consumption qualifies by definition, yes.  Needle play, cutting, blood cupping, and sometimes knife play.

When I was younger I did the whole blood drinking and sadism thing on a regular basis...being part of the whole goth and punk scenes way back when.

It was fun at the time but no longer really holds any interest for me anymore. It was a passing fad of the times.

We'd use needles, knives, scalpels..whatever would cut...light a few candles, do some bondage, start to fuck, pull out the tool, start some cutting, maybe make some patterns, drink each other's blood, continue with some more pain, fuck some more, fall asleep. lol

I normally use a needle and vaccutube setup for the blood drinking. I've used knives and razors a few times. I will probably use a razor when bringing in the blood drinking with a sadistic scene.

LadyPact, do you prefer one method of getting the blood to surface over another, or does it just depend on your mood and scene?

Littlewonder, sounds like you had a lot of fun with that while the fad lasted for you.

I'm a little yes, and a little no on this one.

I'm into blood play, but not really blood drinking.

That being said, when the intention is blood play that tends to be the focus as it is important to maintain a sterile environment during that sort of play. It's always fun to make it hurt a bit, especially since a bit of impact to the area increases the bleeding. I've draw up blood through fire cupping, we use needles, lancets, and scalpels.

For blood play I would NEVER use razors, it's easy enough to get scalpels, kinky medical carries them. It's important to have a sterile blade.

I'm a strong believer in Risk Aware Consensual Kink, a part of RACK for me is reducing risks wherever possible. Sterile tools go a long way. We also have a nice first aid kit. Gauze, alcohol, hibicleanse (kills the stuff alcohol cannot), butterfly bandages (crucial for deep cuts), tape, bandaids of multiple sizes.

We're also very aggressive when it comes to knife play, and at times get cut accidentally (as I said we're RACK kids). Our knives are always sterilized before play, usually I soak in alcohol and burn it off.

Sterelization is always manditory with Me. When I use razors, they are only used once and are sterelized well before being used.

I have always soaked the razor in alcohol then let burn the excess alcohol off. I also use an alcohol wipe on the area that I will be taking the blood from, no matter the method being used.

My first aid kit has band aids, alchohol wipes, cotton balls, coban (elastic cotton blended wrap), tweezers, medal medical scissors, and non-latex plastic gloves.

Correction: I'm a sadist but not a sanguinarian, though I agree blood is pretty and it can taste great depending on the person. However, I know plenty of people who identify as sanguinarians. The answer is yes, some do combine the two at times. Blood cupping is a fantastic way to get the blood flowing before partaking of it and flogging beforehand means there's lots of endorphins in it. Of course, not everyone combines the two and those who do don't do it every time. How it's done just depends on the individuals in question, what other activities they enjoy and how creative they want to get.

If the purpose is to make someone bleed burning off alcohol is not enough. Alcohol can't kill everything. Razor blades can also have coatings on them which are not good for the skin. I'd rather spend the whopping fifty cents on a scalpel blade.

Also, when cutting I always have butterflies in the case, and often need them. Butterflies are crucial to hold the side of the wound close together, it prevents skin separation and real bad scarring, not to mention allows the wound to heal and keeps it from reopening.

I'd have to go with it depending on the mood and the scene.  Since clip does better with any form of skin opening if he is a bit floaty from impact play first, it depends a good deal on how I feel the scene is going and how well he's going to take to severity.  If something is off, he's not going to take to a cutting as well as when he's pumped full of endorphins.

I do happen to be another fan of scalpels.  That goes for both the disposables and My own to change the blade.  Add Me as another who has a great appreciation for kinky medical though I'm pretty well supplied due to clip's profession.
