Your title "REGISTRATION FRAUD" has nothing to do with your story, about alleged PETITION FRAUD.

Of course, I notice that the petitions were not challenged when they were submitted, and that I'm not seeing anyone being actually GUILTY of anything.

And we all know that supposed registration fraud isn't vote fraud. Which is, of course, a non-issue.

No matter what the source, there's usually a grain of truth at the center. The hard job is to read, subtract the libeal or consrvative spin and extract the tiny grain of truth.
You then hold it up to the light and draw your own conclusions.

I`d agree with that. That`s what most people do anyway.

When/if it becomes a MSM story, then we`ll have something to chew on.

I`m not making anything up or adding anything, trying to spin the story.

What I`m doing is pointing out that there`s a new effort afloat to say the president shouldn`t be president because he wasn`t on the Indiana ballot legally.Much like the birthers who claim President Obama shouldn`t be president because he isn`t a citizen of the US.

It`s a new angle on the birther crap from the same people who are bringing us the birther crap.

I guess I`m the guy who`s the first to point out this new GOP dirty-tricks campaign here in P&R.I thought most people already knew about it.

Kirata sure hasn`t. So I guess it looks like I`m over swinging.

1. Youre correct. Registration isnt the right word. Of course not being eligible to run at all is worse than being a legitimate candidate and having some unregistered voters in the primary.
2. Irrelevant.
3. Nobody said it was "vote fraud".

I guess the 2004 debacle isnt allowed to be brought up
only acorn..
snorts

Not if you want to stay on topic. :-)

well you seem to be fine doing your own thing..so yeah its viable..
oh and the scott walker destruction of recall petitions. Funny but they seem to be ignored by anyone on the "right"
yes this is Hugely Questionable, I think I agreed in my first post..about the WHOLE SYSTEM being corrupt. now why are you only giving the dems a hard time?: cant take looking in a mirror? like the hundreds of acorn people that WERE innocent
Facts are not important it seems.
Something you are quite willing to overlook time after time.

My thing was staying on topic..."More [i.e., in addition to previous] Democratic registration fraud.
Your thing was changing the topic...so yeah, it's not viable.
The WHOLE SYSTEM may/may not be corrupt but that's not the topic....staying on topic is why I did and am only giving dems a hard time.
There are probably thousands of innocent ACORN but it only took a few to corrupt elections in several States.
Obfuscations are important to you it seems.
Something Democrats are very adept at.

You consider no-one being found guilty of any acts to be "2. Irrelevant. "?

Better hope you're not picked up by the pigs....

No, idiot. The investigation is just starting. Of course no one's been found guilty. YET.

Folks, what these retards are hoping for is to have President Obama`s Indiana registration found invalid in court.

Wrong. It wouldnt change anything to have it found invalid in court. What will be accomplished is tighter scrutiny of petitions and more support for photo id.

And "retards" is a TOS violation.

If 'retard' is a TOS violation, is 'idiot'?

That aside, oh, an INVESTIGATION? You mean like the investigation into Obama not having a birth certificate? Ok. Noted. I will await the results of this investigation eagerly.

Photo ID requirements do little more than erect road blocks to the poor, elderly and disabled being able to vote at all.  Take, for example, this linked story of a TN woman, 96, who was denied a state ID because she couldn't provide a marriage certificate.
http://timesfreepress.com/news/2011/oct/05/marriage-certificate-required-bureaucrat-tells/

I've also heard a story about another elderly woman who has voted her entire life, never missed an election, but was denied a TN state ID because she lacked a birth certificate--she was born at home and has never one.  I guess she really doesn't exist.

I wasn`t referring to board members but rather the retards pushing this effort.

It`s right there in english who I`m referring to,geezz.Next time I`ll include 2yo.

But if you feel the need to defend them, glad you stepped up to be identified.

According to the paper doing teh actual investigation they're claiming 9 pages of petitions were faked by a single petition gatherer. This happens all the time for both parties. Political campaigns pay people to gather the signatures needed to get on the ballot. Between people who sign them without actually being registered to vote or not living in the right area and the incentive to fake some signatures to get paid these campaigns always try to clear the minimum number by quite a margin.

If there was a problem the opponents could have challenged the petitions. The fact is that Indiana's primary made no difference in the outcome of the nomination campaign so...

Also this is one guy who quite likely passed petitions for multiple campaigns Democratic and Republican.

And it was signed by the Republican office there.... or, to be more precise...

The certified petition pages must be signed by both the Democratic and Republican members of the voter registration board. The Tribune reported in a second article last week that Linda Silcott, the Republican board member in St. Joseph County, was out on bereavement leave when the suspicious pages passed through the office in early 2008. The pages in question bear a stamp of Silcott's signature.

2008.... 3 years ago... and it took them this long to discover this? After it passed through the Republican approval process?

Prosecute the forger, take away the rubber stamp signatures and be done with it.

Bullshit. You need ID to collect welfare, SS checks or buy beer.

We're not talking about food-stamps, social security or alcohol and beverage control laws.

We're talking about voting, and how vote fraud is a non-existent issue, and how in a state with rigid controls, actually lowers security.

Turns out that Obama didnt have enough valid petition signatures to make the Indiana ballot. Yeah, there's no need for photo ID.

Are you advocating a law that mandates showing photo ID in order to sign a petition?

When you run around like a chicken with it`s head cut off, rational thoughts and logic don`t really play a part.
