A lot of those on the R side think the best chance of not having another hopey changey 4 years is to run Romney.

And my point was that Savage's rant isnt necessarily representative of the "R side", its his own desperation. That said, of course there are many who think that Romney has a better chance of defeating Blowboy. That isnt exactly news. If you think it is then the past 5 weeks have wooshed past you.

Actuallyif he had a fucking clue about history he would know that there was a peace accord between Israel and the PLO in 1993, which is why Gingrich was there in the first place. This is nothing AGAINST him, it reinforces his diplomatic credibility.

But you don't get to have it both ways. Most of the right (repubs) hated the PLO and just knew that Arafat was corrupt, all of this so-called diplomacy and that agreement would not last.

Status: offline 		Wasn't all that long ago the 2 professional embarrassees were telling us how gawdawful it was that Obama was snitting with Bunnie Netanyahu about getting together and  talking with the PLO, and how embarressed they were, but now that we see the slimester doing it, Newt is a great hero of the Soviet Union, they will sing of his exploits coast to coast.

It quite a bit less than brilliant, I must say.

When I talk about Israel and Palestine I am talking politically, not religiously. "Expelled by god" is a farcical basis for any political claims to territory.

Palestine does not exist because of the larger Arab struggle. Not because Isreal does.
