You can make up your own reasons for his praising soldiers all you want but the best thing they can do out there is survive long enough to make it home. if you don't believe me, ask one yourself. Invading Iraq was a shitty decision from day 1. It was handed off to the present administration as a no win situation. We're out of there for better or worse. Hopefully no more of our young men and women will be hurt and killed there. I look for a creeping presence of Iran in the near future. That is the reason Bush the First didn't depose Hussein. Hussein was the only one that kept Iran busy and mostly out of mischief and he realized that. Too damn bad his son wasn't that smart. But, what the hell, his friends made billions. Of course, there are some Leftists that disagree.
