LadyHibiscus -> My Amazon Wish List (12/14/2011 1:09:00 PM)

I am loving it! It's my own little shopping fantasyland. I just added two pairs of fabulous Doc Marten boots--oxblood! stiletto heels! Of course I could never wear the tall shaft ones with my legs, but I can look at the pictures and sigh.

It helps at the library, too, when I can't remember what I was looking for (thank you android) and when I am building that dvd collection that I will never bother with because I so rarely watch them. But all those ballets, and David Attenborough things, and the Tremors box set! My BFF's and I use our lists for birthday shopping, too.

Sometimes I think I should add outrageous things to the list, but I try to keep it within reason. Sometimes I treat myself, I got THREE books this summer! Hardcovers!

Does anyone else have their personal wish list somewhere, that they look at at ponder? What's on yours?

Yes I have an Amazon wish list. It's my own personal bit of dreamy window shopping. Mostly full of camera gear, books, and movies. Lots and lots of books.

Ninebelowzero -> RE: My Amazon Wish List (12/14/2011 1:54:03 PM)

Tapestry-Carol King
Deja Vu-Crosby stills Nash & Young

SweetCheri -> RE: My Amazon Wish List (12/14/2011 1:54:12 PM)

So far my means exceed my wants. Other than a grand piano, there isn't really anything I want that I can't afford, so there's no need for a wish list.

ShaharThorne -> RE: My Amazon Wish List (12/14/2011 2:25:02 PM)

I stay away from Amazon...I tend to spend money.

Ebay on the other hand...I get bargains on my ink, yarn and books.

DesFIP -> RE: My Amazon Wish List (12/14/2011 2:28:59 PM)

I almost never get past the books on Amazon. I'm having major problems not buying every damn e book that crosses my mind. On the good side, by sticking with free ebooks I've discovered some new authors.

LillyBoPeep -> RE: My Amazon Wish List (12/14/2011 2:51:45 PM)

Amazon is like... dance video mecca.
That's pretty much all that's on my list.
Well, there are books, too. And an upgrade of my mp3 player, which is... mostly used for dance practice. Or painting. :p

I had Kindle frenzy last year but I have since settled down and get e-books from three library systems - my old one, my new one, and Mom's. Now I just buy books if I'm unable to borrow them, which doesn't happen too often.

Winterapple -> RE: My Amazon Wish List (12/14/2011 3:10:08 PM)

I have a Amazon list. I think it may actually be
as long as the Amazon. Mine is mostly books,
DVDs and music. There's some good stuff to
be found in the free ebooks. I've seen a
lot of interesting titles. But, yeah Amazon
is like crack/porn/nirvana.

RexDarcy -> RE: My Amazon Wish List (12/14/2011 4:24:30 PM)

I've bought stuff through Amazon, but I don't have a wish list there. I normally use Amazon to buy a ton of books, a few dvd's, a digital camera, and a couple of mp3 players.

Fornica -> RE: My Amazon Wish List (12/14/2011 4:51:28 PM)

I like it for keeping track of book recommendations and such :)

LadyHibiscus -> RE: My Amazon Wish List (12/14/2011 5:02:57 PM)

Yeah, I put things there that I want to take a look at, which is harder now that there's no Border's.

laborboleta -> RE: My Amazon Wish List (12/14/2011 5:06:21 PM)

Lots and lots of ebooks, couple of hardcovers, some mp3's, and some, umm...adult toys. [sm=book.gif]

stellauk -> RE: My Amazon Wish List (12/14/2011 6:14:13 PM)

I'm on e-Bay where I get all sorts of stuff. Amazon every so often.

However if I could somehow wangle a month long pass with a major international airline you wouldn't see me for dust and I'd be clocking up those air miles like the clappers.

Now if you had told me you had an AMC Pacer, we would be setting the date.
