Global warming and sea level rise isn't a new thing. When I was in college in the late 70's it was becoming accepted well before Al Gore invented the internet.

servantforuse, am I being asked to believe that, when presented with evidence of "thousands" of plumes of "continuous, powerful and impressive" methane gas escaping directly into the atmosphere, including one said to be so large it's a "kilometre wide", all you see is evidence of scientists "scamming" for money?

Give some examples of how they are scamming money.

Specific examples.

And just to clarify, how exactly did the Kyoto agreement qualify as a money scam?

Bullshit. We've pumped millions of tons of CO2 into the air in the last 250 years. That has most definitely affected the climate and we could certainly take steps right now to mitigate those effects.

You're correct there on the year. Yes, I remember him. The only people I ever met from that team were Csonka at a Canes game and Griese when he came to the HS where I was coaching and his sons played ball. They were young gentlemen. Absolutely no 'airs' about them at all. Shula's kids were nice students as well and I had Tony Perez's son in a science class. He was a true young gentleman before he transferred.

Actually, the Russians are working on territorial claims for seabottom that is presently under the arctic ice cap. They know things are getting warmer and they're hoping for mineral wealth when the cap is gone.

Actually attended one of thier victories that year,they played the NY Giants in what was the only Giant game I ever attended in Yankee Stadium...I was 12 years old.Who knew,at the time, I was watching perfection
