Well, I do have some small quibble and some very distant agreement with Newt, but it is within limited confines. The judicial branch = legislative branch = executive branch. One does in theory not have more........... what...power than another... But the Prez cant tell the SCOTUS to go to hell more than the legislature can tell the SCOTUS to go to hell, and make any of this stick. I think there should perhaps be sometimes some advise and consent from congress and scotus, but hey, SCOTUS already says yo have no standing before SCOTUS as congress, you make the fuckin laws, you dont like what we rule make a new law thats within the constitution and we deal with that. Congress advises and consents on those SCOTUS appointments..... I could go on, but in the whole get down and dirty fighting there they have their lawyers in their practicing before the scotus, and while I would have as a lawmaker wanted to haul them down on say the corporations are people too and find out what the fuck is wrong with them, or the dred scott decision, I would not want to see committee after committee subpeonaing scotus on fucking birth certificates and roe v wade and all sorts of give it the fuck up already shit that they would be hauled down for....but usually it would be useless to haul them down to get answers, you got the opinion (both assent and dissent) in the fuckin OPINION. So, that is a wrangle in my mind, but there should be more accountability as well, dunno. But ignoring them actively 'cuz you don't fuckin like it?' nah, gotta do better than that for a plan.
