Again, dear - for the most part, the deaths in Iraq following the liberation were Muslim on Muslim homicides With the coalition forces for the most part working to stop the bloodbath Saddam loyalists killing Muslims, al-Qaeda killing Muslims... while we played the part of the good guys, building schools and hospitals, training and protecting the Iraqis to the best of our ability You cant sleep until you convince yourself that the United States is pure evil though, can you quote: ORIGINAL: Lucylastic so Saddam killed thousands of his own people, then the allies go in and kill a few more hundred thousand without being asked, and people are sposed to be thankful?

Pretty much,though I wouldn't want anyone to assume that just because I think we made a hash of it is not to say that things were all peachy under Sadaam....Sanity fails to realize that one can,while being perfectly consistant,applaud the demise of Sadaams tyranny,and still feel the price was too high,it was too poorly done,and the original impetus for doing it was just so much total bullshit foisted on the American public and the world by an administration hell bent on war truth be dammed.

Again, no - not at our hand. And yes, having the ability now to forge their own destiny is indeed a huge improvement over the days in which the Iraqi people were imprisoned in their own country by a truly monstrous team of father and son tyrants
