I was sub to me soon to be ex-husband. I left him because he could not apologize or even comprehend why he might need to do so. He went beyond BDSM, to the point of abuse.. the worst was putting a gun to my head, loading it and taking off the safety. Had he been able to later make genuine apologies and amends for that and the so many other failures I might have had the respect to stay.
