In this case, Michelle Obama's ass. http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/congressman-apologizes-criticizing-michelle-obama-large-posterior-183923894.html A not-skinny Congressman, who obviously has no intention of following any of Michelle Obama's healthy foods initiative, criticized her physique. As someone commented, there is no chance that the terminology he used was "large posterior". He's following Rush Limbaugh, another sterling physical specimen, who also criticized the First Lady's figure. 1. FLOTUSes used to be off limits. If they don't make policy, then they're largely window dressing. 2. The nation is overweight and has health issues. Michelle exercises and eats healthy (not all the time, but still). She's likely in better shape than 90+% of the population her age. Why criticize her looks? Hell, if someone overweight worked on their body as much as she did, it would be cruel to comment. For someone to criticize someone with her figure... weird. 3. Sensenbrenner and Limbaugh are severely overweight. Having them comment on a fit person as having a fat ass is bizarre. 4. Class, guys, class. Remember it? 5. Doesn't he have important things to do?

Yes, a size 8. She is lovely, the ugly white dress notwithstanding. What is even worse is when they drag the kids into it, like Rush insists on doing. Comparing Chelsea to a dog, and I don't ever remember the nasty remark he made about the Obama kids. I notice he never said anything critical about the Bush twins, though. One would have thought that would be fertile ground.

I think Michelle Obama is fit and healthy. Having a bountiful booty doesn't mean a woman is out of shape or unhealthy. It just means nature blessed her with that sort of backside. The hysteria her efforts regarding eating healthier have produced is just another way of demonizing the Obama's. There is no issue benign enough that she could take up and not get heat for it. It's rich that two fat guys are publicly and crudely giving her grief. But Limbaugb is the fat, drug addicted heel who publicly called a thirteen year old girl the White House dog. So, wives and daughters are not off limits to the more deeply entrenched assholes. I judge the congressman harsher though. It is granted to much to hope for decorum of some sort from a member of Congress but one assumes he has loved ones that he would not like to be spoken of in the vulgar fashion he did Mrs Obama. And, no her being the presidents wife and her taking the public stance on the issue doesn't make it any less rude or him any less a heel for doing so.

Many have often taken cheap pot shots at the kids. They had the best laugh though. They turned into real beauties and have more class and grace than those condemning them. I will always admire Chelsea's handling of the awkward questions during her mother's campaign.

Chelsea is so goddamn cool, she is awesome. I never heard much about the Bush twins, but I hear a lot about their cousin Lauren. She had no reason to do photo ops prior to her husband running for president. And I do know that Target has a line of "fat ass dresses" as you so rudely call them--they are called "Plus sizes". I wear them myself. A plus size dress is nothing close to being a tailor made size 8--plus sizes start over size 18. You duff us.

well,.. a size 8 isnt a size 2 but its not a size 16 either... Some women are a little bigger on the bottom and others (like me [:(] ) are bigger on the top, which can make it darn hard to buy good fitting clothing.. I think she does a pretty good job considering she has 2 kids, a hubby thats Prez, probably going non-stop on her First Lady duties.. I seem to recall articles in womens mags on "How to get Michelle Obama's arms". If she were in that bad shape they wouldnt have written articles on how to get her "arms".. I do think that dress is friggin hideous tho.. ewwwwww [:'(] Usually she has better taste than that..
