What I look for? Simple, refined, accessible. Appropriate to the occasion but must meet these requirements.

My dominant is very reasonable about these things. If we're going out to a nice dinner, yes, he expects me to wear something presentable, preferably a skirt. Never short (he doesn't go for the slutty look...he prefers an innocent, little girl look). He does specify that he prefer I wear light/bright colors (I'm fond of black and goth-gear but he hates it.)

He likes to look very, very vanilla. He's the kind of guy that if you saw at us a public BDSM event, he'd look like the guy who just totally didn't belong there (which would be hilarious since he'd likely be one of the most experienced dominants in the room.) He'd be wearing a polo shirt and khaki's, and everyone would probably think he was a wannabe!

When he's not around, he doesn't care how I dress.We're long distance for now so when he's not here to see it, he doesn't care how I dress. When he's in town, he picks out my clothes with me and approves or denies what I want to wear in public when he and I go out.

If I'm going out without him, like shopping with my Mom or to the movies with my best friend, he could care less. Wearing dresses at my home is out of the question...I live on a horse farm and I'm always having to go out to the barn to do chores. Plus I'm also living on my family's property (not in their house, but sort of next-door to it) and it wouldn't do for my mother and father to see me walking around in a dress all the time. They'd get highly suspicious.

Because I'm overweight, we don't do high heels, ever. He doesn't like the looks of them anyway, but it's not good on your ankles either and he's extremely health/safety conscious. I never wear panties when I have a skirt on, but I always, always wear a bra unless we're playing at the time or sleeping. I've got 40D's and "no bra" = "boobies down around my waist." Not a pretty picture! He also does not like me to wear hose or nylons, ever. He likes to feel my legs.

He does like me to have my hair nice at all times. He likes me to wear light/minimal/no makeup.

I guess he's kind of unusual , but he's a Daddy Dom and he can't stand it when I dress slutty or trashy. He always wants me to look very sweet and innocent and natural.

I've noticed that a lot of the "fashion requirements" I've seen men on this site list do not apply well to heavy women. There's no way I could wear short skirts, high heels, and no bra. I wouldn't look sexy, I'd look like trailer trash!

He prefers that I wear things in public which flatter my fuller figure and which have a touch of class to them.

At home, he prefers me in pajamas most of the time (loose pajama shorts with a t-shirt for example.) For some reason, he likes it even better if said pajama's have a cartoon character of some sort on them, lol!

all women are different and as long as they look good in what they wear so be it i'll look....leather on some are heart stopping while on others are an insult to leather,,,,lol,,,,i think you get the jest

ok after reading the clarification here....my women will dress in a way that best displays them....some wear jeans some wear suits and then dresses...it also depends where we are going....

Master requires that i look appropriate for the occassion ie work, school run, evening out etc, but He does stipulate clevage! He has been through my wardrobe and thrown out everything that does not give him (or others - he loves to see men and women talking to my boobs!) a decent view of my clevage, He is a boob man and insists on seeing what is on offer ALL the time!

this is a very good question and i have been enjoying all of the varied answers.
In initial talks with my Dom, He stated some of his preferences in modes of dress. Some of which i am happily able to comply with and others that are just not feasible for me.
He enjoys the short skirt, high heels look. i am not a small woman so this look is not always the best or most complimentary for me. i also have a problem with my right hip which gives me a lot of pain if i try and walk in heels for any length of time.
He enjoys cleavage, the more the better and He requires that i am accessible to him.
i happily wear button up shirts and skimpy tops, and to provide access while weaing jeans i have split the seam at the crotch and put snaps in that can be flipped open easily with one hand.
His one requirement is that anything i wear i feel i look good in, as if i feel i do not look good then it will show and i will not look comfortable to others.

Personally, I have seldom seen a woman in a fashion mag that interest me. I expect my woman to look her best. No more, no less....and I know what her best looks like.

Well for starters she should have colour co-ordination. I do despise females that have no clue what colours to wear with tops and skirts and shoes, it amazes me that they dress in the dark. I mean, where ever the female is going, to the supermarket, to a restaurant, to the cinema, she should not look daggy. Going to the deli with trakky pants, sheesh I would just wash her mouth out with soap...grins and chuckles.

Just be realistic. With the clothing matching the outing, and not lowering the name of her Dom/Master. I wouldlet her choose, if her choice is not to my liking, I would change it, simple.
