I'm curious to hear if anyone here has any luck finding the people they searched for. I see a lot of different stuff going on, so it made me curious.

As for me, I have just started my search again after a 3 year hiatis of plain living. I didn't really give CM much of a chance before, but this time I'm going to see if it works for me in my quest to find what I seek.

Yes, I have. I found someone on here quite some time ago & we were together until he died. Then I found someone on here again & we are still together. Now I'm looking for a submissive and I have high hopes. ;)

I met my Master here back in July and we are set to marry in July 2012. I had only been here a short while, but he had been on for several years prior to finding me. His last submissive (who died of cancer) he met offline.

My One found me here almost 3 years ago.
I think what generally causes the most disappointment here is a lack of patience.
I was here for over 18 months when He first contacted me; the rest of this success story is in my sig-line.

I think most of the people today have little patience. I have plenty. Not looking to settle, but rather waiting for what is just right.

I've been with my Man now for 4 months. We'd been chatting as friends for over a year before he asked me what I thought of us being together. Uhhh, HELL YEAH??? I had just ended a conversational thing with a guy who was just all wrong for me, and he'd gone to meet someone for a weekend and was back the same day.

We get along great, it's not easy because it is long distance. But we're determined to make it work because we know each other well, we share the same values, we have fun together, and we're just us when we're together. No artifice, no fake, no pretend. It's honest, transparent and the trust is there. What else could I ask for?

That's awesome and exactly why I decided to use CM to the fullest. I'm at a point in my life where I need to do it right this time. Enough with the games.

Master and I met at the LA social 15 years ago. We've been together for 12 years and married for 11 years. So, I don't really count as an advertisement for this site,but it does show it's possible.

Your profile says you're in Apple Valley which means you're close enough to make forays into the LA area, which has a very lively scene. I recommend getting out to the events and socials.

I'm hoping to here soon. I'm new to the "Scene", so it will take me a while to figure out who, what, when, where, and all the rest. I would be more than thankful if people kept me informed as to anything going on in SoCal and Vegas. I mix between the two cities for the most part between my work travels.

I've found some great submissives whom I see regularly for play or service only. I've also vetted a couple of subs whom now serve friends of mine on a personal basis here.

While I have not found an intimate D/S partner on CM, but I have been in transitional & mourning period at the end of a 7 year relationship with a long term live in, and not looking for a 'replacement'. I have met some quality individuals with whom I might have considered an intimate relationship with though, had my situation have been different.

I found Wayward here. It is most unlikely we would have crossed paths without CM. Before I met him, I made two significant connections with subs in my area from CM and met some nice people who still keep in touch.

Patience is a virtue, as is an open mind. Good luck in your search, and best in 2012.

Well, I know there's the Inland Empire Social in Ontario, which is the second Wednesday of every month I believe.

There's also a yahoo group HighDesertDS based in Apple Valley.

Sorta. I met one sub here who relocated from Alabama to be with me. We were together for six months. I met another who decided to come here with the understanding that things between us would be unlikely. We're still friends and flirt, but it's not more than that. I met my first dom on cm - and spent the next five years living with him, very happy, until he died. I met my current Sir on another site - and we have been together over a year, happy. So... yes, you can find people onsite. Good luck.
