Dusky, you're getting to be a regular little spank-whore! (I mean that in the very best of ways!)

Oh Blush Baby, you have no idea how right you are. Apparently, the beast in me has been unleashed. It's like Babes in Toyland! OMG, I had so much fun. I also got to learn about the Violet Wand, and see/feel it in action. What a trip! And saw my first Fireplay, and was completely mesmerized. And the other night, I got my first flogging, and thought I died and went to heaven.

Oh me oh, my oh, this certainly is an most pleasant and addictive past time. A girl could get in a whole lot of trouble...of the good type, of course.

How is it, I'd like to know, it took me so bloody long to become aware of, and inducted into this sort of thing? No matter, you can be sure I do intend to make up for lost time. Ah, so much fun, and so little time!

I don't celebrate New Years... so needing a massage I wasn't going to get, I went to bed early. This sexy deep voiced man kept calling and asking for Steve, so I decided to get up and warm up some coffee, since I was up for a while. Now, earlier my microwave decided to act out. I unplugged it thinking it was the computer and maybe... just maybe... it would be like other computers and needed a reboot. Hey! It worked with the car!

So I plug it in and set it and although it stalled for a second, it worked! I rushed to get my coffee cup and within forty seconds I was opening the microwave to put my coffee in... all happy like. Oh dear... I smell smoke.. what is worse is I see it! God help me, I have started a fire in my kitchen!

So yeah... I started a fire on New Years, learned microwave computers are not like other computers, that I still haven't killed off that Lucy Ricardo gene and I should have just stayed in bed... that damn guy looking for Steve!

How terrible! I'm glad you didn't end up with a full fledged fire!

We hit the little pub around the corner, listened to a Black Sabbath tribute band trying to win over the local rednecks, shot some pool, drank some beer, came on home, no hangover.

For the first time in a decade I decided to go out for New Year.

Master and I went to a play party held by friends of ours. We ate chili, drank wine (he drank coffee...designated driver lol), played lots, hugged and kissed our friends and laughed our way into 2012.

Thankfully my wine drinking was restricted (I get drunk VERY easily) so this morning I woke up tired, but no hangover. All in all, fab evening!

Quiet time at home with someone special which is the way I have spent NYE for as long as I can remember. Crowds and revelry are not my scene.

Whips and chains, and crops and canes. Sent the kid to grandma and after the livein and I worked out a couple issues we spent the night fucking in a way that would make porn stars blush. Then I listened to(more) fireworks while he slept. Now I feel bad because he got less than four hours of sleep and had to work this morning.

Traditional New Year's Eve at my house:
Worked at work, brought home end-of year paperwork and worked at home.
Had leftover homemade spaghetti and meatballs for dinner (Yum!!!).
Indulged in potato chips with onion dip, eggnog with nutmeg and rum.
Watched the ball drop. Attempted to kiss all the critters and wish them a Happy New Year. The dog was receptive, the cats not so much.
Texted Happy New Year to some friends and acquaintances.
Went to bed.

Today I'm going to make eggnog pancakes and bacon for dinner.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF MY NEW FRIENDS AT CM!

la borboleta

P.S: I am insanely jealous of you, DP!   I think I'm going to move to Colorado.

I am sick with a terrible cold and I had no energy to even think about a night out. I vizier a few wineries in the Columbia River Gorge during the day, my love cooked macadamia encrusted Mahi Mahi for dinner for my sister and I, we drank chocolate martinis, and watched the Walking Dead. Happy new year, everyone

There is a really nasty cold going around; seems to be hitting people all over the country. I'm just getting over it. Hope you feel much better soon.

NYE is a big deal with my new extended family. There was 16 of us. So a big meal, lots of wine/vodka, chatter and celebration for good luck and happiness for all in the new year.

After working late-earlies the last 3 this was a nice change.

I propped my daughter's eyes open with toothpicks and helped her stay awake long enough to see the ball drop. We made pumpkin pie and watched bad movies together. It was nice. :)

After all the wild going-ons in my life the last two weeks, I curled up with my laptop and go caught up on various email and Internet sites until I was tired enough to sleep. Was actually pretty nice to just relax and be lazy after working my butt off dealing with things. :-)

Stuffed ourselves with Chinese food and watched cheesy movies until the ball dropped in NYC.  Then, spent 20 min trying to calm the dogs after all the fireworks, bells and gunshots.
