What I don't see is the outrage from the "left" who screamed bloody murder when they thought Bush might be considering anything that didn't fit the widest possible definition of "protecting our rights", who are now almost utter silent on much larger direct and overt actions by the current administration which simply trash the most basic cornerstones of the rights guaranteed by the Constitution.

And I think cutting off a leg that has gangrene to save someone's life is a "good thing" as well. That must mean I'm "pro-amputation" for everyone!

But the fact is, you could find nothing ... nothing at all in your searches on CM where I said that I supported the PA, or liked it, or wanted more of it.

Perhaps you wish it to be "EOS", because you are wrong, and do not have the intestinal fortitude to correct yourself, or admit error or have a polite discussion about the topic.

The plain fact is that you wish to attribute to me, beliefs and positions I do not have.

If you were really interested in an open discussion, you'd've asked me what I thought about the Patriot Act in it's entirety, but like Obama's "new tone", you simply wish to have those who disagree with you about anything to lay down and shut up, while their heads are chopped off.

Most of those links have nothing to do with the subject. Trying to throw filler out, to make it appear that you have a point?

There are a couple in which I castigate the Democrats for not complaining about it after Obama was elected.

Which is still a valid complaint, and points to the fact that I think there is something to complain about.

Not even a good try.

Have you found any where yet where I said "Thank God for the Patriot Act!"? or any such?
