No. People talked to her before that...that's why no one was worried at first. She told everyone her child was with the nanny.


The nanny noone had ever seen? Was she partying with people she knew or strangers.

She had been talking about the nanny for years. Her parents believed that Zanny existed even though they never met her. She pretended to work, so while she was pretend working, she told her parents that Zanny was watching her child.
I know it sounds strange. (because it is)
But most of us wouldn't question a friend or loved one who told us their child was with the nanny, whether we met her or not.
Most of us don't deal with natural liars though. (on a regular basis)

And most Grandparents would want to meet the person who was taking care of their grandchild. Chances are that at some point that would have happened...or not as this person appears to not exist. I just find it odd that people close to her just shrugged and accepted it.

Just to add, there are a few cases I keep a close eye on and have since the beginning. Obviously this is one of them.
(in case you wondered if I was just making stuff up as I go along. *lol*)

Oh ko. Hell no. Cops lie like a bitch. I certainly didn't mean to imply anything otherwise.

I was just pointing out that, especially from a police perspective, everyone lies to them. Ms. Anthony is no exception.

As for best liars on the planet,well, we all know Congress holds the heavyweight title and they ain't giving that up anytime soon :-)

Oh no, I never thought you were making stuff up as you go along; I figured you were going with the information you had from various media sources. But think of this, it makes a helluva story doesn't it: "Woman parties after killing daughter". People were bound to eat it up like ice cream and not think too much about how those who are close to her would have or at least should have known something about this nanny or lack thereof. If those close to her never saw this nanny I would think someone would have come forward at some point and said something about there being no nanny. Then her story would have fallen apart much sooner.

Now I do admit that I didn't keep an eye on the whole story start to finish but I always assume the press isn't telling the whole story. After all their job is to sell the news, especially in the case of newspapers and magazines. The more sensationalist the story the more newspapers/magazines they sell.

I don't know...if my sister, daughter or best friend said they were dropping their child off with the nanny, (this went on for years) I'd assume she had found a good one, and wouldn't necessarily feel a need to ask to meet her.

As for the partying, there is enough video and stills taken during that time to show what she was up to.

I live in Florida and one of our news channels had 24/7 coverage.  You would go to sports bar and there she was on 7 TVs. 

I don't know which Casey is guilty of what, neglect and cover up or murder.. but one thing resounds, they are guilty of something.

I agree its a media frenzy over her. I cant say 100% shes guilty but her actions show me she is guilty. I watch alot of law tv such as Law & Order, CSI, NCIS etc… the one thing that sticks is " only the guilty can sleep "

There have been several reasons (imo) that there was a media frenzy over her.

1. She's accused of murdering her (very young and beautiful) child.
2. She's young and hot.
3. She partied (a lot) while her baby was missing. (and there were lots of pics and vids to prove it)
4. Her lies were so transparent as to make it quite obvious she was guilty.
5. Her attorney encouraged it, to a point.
6. Well, she got away with it, didn't she?

I agree fully esspecially #6. Sadly if it comes out 100% she is guilty she cant be tried for murder due to double jepordy. No sentence that she would get would fit crime.
