Booty boy is a lot of fun to have around. And a lot of the guys seem preoccupied with something.

Gosh, I don't know.

But you do have a few data points.

Mummyman said the traditional approach, all the way from the lighthearted to the heavyhanded meets his approval. That it's not just what you say and do but how you go about it. And that it is alright to not really be serious if that is the way things happen to turn out. This last bit is very real, except when taking the direct approach, IMHO.

SeekingOwnerToo suggested an even wider variety of approaches were good with him.

Booty Boy offered a wonderful vanilla wafer, that would be right at home wearing a leather miniskirt. He said too, that an outright aggressive approach would work with him. Very well. I could easily see what he means.

And I attempted to say that showing a personal interest (is that called... flirting?) could be effective, if you want me to take the initiative.

This seems to cover most of the map. There may be an inference to be drawn in that. It could be that you can choose the way that works for you and expect to very well, keeping in mind the point made by Peonforher about the ever present possibility of rejection. Which hurts, of course.

This is not a terribly seductive thread.

I WANT HELPFUL HINTS!! What WORKS with you persnickety menz?

When I was having sex I remember it as being easy enough to get...so that is not what I mean. NSA afternoons are a thing of the past for me. This is different!

SPILL!!

...bring it to our first in-public meeting @ Starbucks so she could inspect it. the whole time we were talking she had me place it on the table for anyone to see (if they could make sense of what it was). Once I cut the switch, I have to admit that I was scared of what she would do to me with it. But I also have to admit that I was absolutely seduced by the power she held over me. I went back and forth in my mind between terror and fascination. I kept looking at the switch every day, like it was a drug. I took it out and swung it, then put it away. Later I wondered how much it would hurt and tried it out. It REALLY hurt.

"The "seduction" was only in real time. Only then did you "have to admit that I was absolutely seduced by the power she held over me."

I rest my case.

Oh, MrRogers (BTW love your sweaters) surely women have been seduced and wooed by love letters in past ages? Can the Internet really be so different?

BootyBoy -> RE: The Object of Desire (1/11/2012 6:52:04 PM)

I think the other half of this seduction question is, "do subs also seduce their Mistresses?"

FrostedFlake -> RE: The Object of Desire (1/13/2012 3:41:21 AM)

Well. It is nice to get handed a laural now and then. Thank you, SeekingOwnerToo.

But I'm still not gonna make a play for BootyBoy. It's nothing personal, well, yeah, that's what it is.

Zinco -> RE: The Object of Desire (2/24/2012 3:45:46 PM)

I once exchanged a number if emails with Akasha, whom i always thought was the perfect domme through sheer power of intellect and literary taste... Guess what happened? She cared only about my body, praised it a lot, and wanted to have some kind of exercise over webmail... There was no intellect, no literary taste, just that. I did nor agree to it, but perhaps that was a mistake. I now read some of her posts. She is still an extraordinary writer.

As a companion to the courtship discussion, let us ponder the art of seduction. Is it a lost art? Do we need to bother? Will the men even notice?

Part of female dominance is sexual aggression, but that doesn't mean it needs to be obvious, or gracelss.

So, what do you men like to see and experience?

Elegance, Charm, Wit, Sharpness.

Apparently I need to start reading ALL of the forums here on collarme. I am way behind.

The last two things I like to see is sincerity and class.

Experience-wise...

intellectually stimulating conversation that appeals to roots deeper than I know and a gal that really likes co-existing in the same place as I am, smiling all of the way.

Knowing that I am in the thoughts of a really truly awesome being and being able to make a potential Domme laugh. Nothing more beautiful than that. Nothing more painful than withholding that joy... too.

Frogs. Did I mention frogs?

Am I too easy?

SnowRanger -> RE: The Object of Desire (2/25/2012 4:07:32 AM)

Hello A/all,

One of the things that works on me is the use of physical proximity. I have a fairly large 'comfort zone' or 'personal space.' A woman who can deftly move into that area has me completely off balance. I feel vulnerable and at her mercy.

In a F/m context it's doubly diabolical. What's next?.. A carress or a kick?

Respectfully,
Mike
