Where are the rules & standards hmm??? I have the right to censor whom I speak with or is that right of mine not allowed? Do I need anyones permission? Personally I think the point your trying to make is failing then again thats just me.

Yes and no. You have the right to decide who you will respond to. You do not have the right to tell people where they can post or if they can write to you on the other side. Essentially anyone can post in any thread in any room unless they are under moderation or they can send emails unless they are blocked.

I would think that you have as much right to answer who you will and ignore who you will in public as on a public forum. 

As those people of the public have the same right.

I have made the statement out here many a time, that I am a glorious pig of a man, and happy to be so, and if (just like I would do in a face to face situation) want to stare you dead in the tits, thats whats on the cart, and you aint in control of that and aint going to get that little slice of life changed.

Ever? Right or wrong? You remain stagnant with no growth or self-awareness due to others' thoughts and ideas?
I suggest every once in a while, if a bunch of people are all saying the same thing to you, and it's different from what you perceive, that you take a little time and reflect if you might mine a little nugget of wisdom (even if it's for later use) from those you feel are against you.
Growth is difficult, and it's especially difficult once you've dug in, but it is possible.

Ok, that was My mistake for not understanding.

There's a bunch of stuff in the middle of this thread that I haven't had the opportunity to read yet, so if I've missed any comments that I haven't addressed, I apologize for that, too.  This is just kind of a generalized statement.  (And I do promise that I'm trying to be on topic.)

No, I'm not saying that I'm attempting to "police" intros or anything like that.  I'm not even disagreeing that some folks get the snark that they might deserve.  I'll even admit that I've nailed a few folks in Introductions and I wasn't exactly nice about it.  (A couple of 'married and cheating' types spring to mind and I know how I am about that.)  That's My way of saying that I know I'm just as guilty.

One comment that I did see was from Fornica about how I must be the person reporting folks for some of the comments that I have been made in Intros.  Actually, I'm not.  The last ticket that I submitted about anything was back in September and I'd be happy to verify that.

That's kind of why I created this thread.  Because I wanted to address what I saw and this was really the best option.  Since we're not supposed to start bickering on any given person's introduction thread and I'm really *not* willing to get into it over and over again through various private emails, creating this thread was My best idea. 

This is just My own personal opinion.  I didn't look at the guidelines or anything like that, so I could be wrong about this, too.  I see the Intro section in pretty much the same way as when somebody is going to a munch for the first time.  If it's the way you'd introduce yourself at a kink event, that's honestly good enough for Me.  I mean, when's the last time that you went to a munch and when people were introducing themselves, they said their name and added what kind of movies they like or what is their favorite ice cream flavor?

I'm ok with being the minority opinion on this one.  Certain folks and I will just have to agree to disagree on the matter.
