I am never rude to anyone who does not deserve it. In fact, I wouldn´t call it rudeness, just sarcastic and snarky (and only when they deserve it).

It seems that only certain people deemed to be on the right side of the snark fence are considered worthy of posting here and it saddens me to see these forums go the way of so many others. It also strikes me that some posts claiming to be against ´attacks´ on others are doing exactly what they are accusing others of.

LP, it's going to show up on the front page for a couple more days!!! You have rattled a few cages, maybe more than a few. Funny, but this whole thread is like deja vu. I could have sworn I read something similar on the CompuServe Adult chat forums over 8 years ago. Yep, now that I think on it, it's the same old internet shit happening yet again. It's a select few against the moderators. The claim is always that the mods are unfair or inconsistant.

In the end it comes down to the fact that the forums are FREE. They cost you nada. Go with the flow or get on the Collarme Refuge bandwagon over at Fetlife.

Yes, Lady Hib. It IS all good if you are headed back to the area of Be Nice to Everyone.
But people are staying put and reving their engines in hopes that just one more person will open their mouth and say something they don't like! One comment just feeds another, and they are off on a spree again!

With all due respect to you Lady Hib, if people need scripts/guidelines on how to speak kindly to someone ? Then there's more seriously wrong here than meets the eye, Ma'am.

As for Lady Pact saying that she will police the threads...I presume that if they were indeed being policed as they should be, it wouldn't be necessary, would it?

IF you are implying that I have made some unkind comments to people...I will stand on a pulpit and appease all of you by saying YES!!! I -AM -GUILTY!!!
And the majority of the time, I have also sent messages to those same people in hopes of making some sort of amends. Can YOU say the same?

But do I stand in wait for someone to say something I can jump them about? NO!
Do I go from forum to message after message (as I have gotten) hounding the person for another hour or even more? NO!
Do I encourage others I know to gang up on them in post after post in a forum? NO!
Do I add posts to their threads just enough to piss them off, however never enough to get myself banned? NO!
Do I treat them like crap because they are "nothing more than a bunch of pixels?" NEVER!

And therein, my fellow posters, lies the difference! (Kind smile) Therein lies the difference....

Even though the pictures they "remember" taking are stolen from various porn sites on the web?
If you do a search and find Arpig's post about the people in his head, and how real they are to him (it went on about 13 pages or so) you might see things differently.
Or not. And that's ok too.
But I did not get satire from that.
