O.K.... now that I am through laughing...I do agree with pissdoll that it can be hard to be a male on these sites.  You send a long note to one lady and she writes you back and tells you she doesn't need or want to know all that in one letter or asking why you think she'd be interested in knowing all that.  So, you send a short note the next time you write someone and they ask you how can you ever expect to want to be known when you can't express and show more of yourself in your letter.  Sexually provocative?   Might get a rather scathing reply.  And on...and on...and on.

That being said, I will grant that I have to wonder when I read some of these posts about messages sent that my brain reels with thoughts of "What was this guy thinking?"

Yes, the men out number the women on the site.  They would still out number us, but not by so much if so many of them didn't have 2,3,4 or more profiles. 
 
Yes, some of them do take 45 min to hand craft an email, and some of them take 45 min to hand craft an email that is very easily applied to many women and send them out to all 500 that they are going to email today, and some of them send out ridiculous one liners.  If you don't have thick enough skin to take rejection, be it polite, rude or no response, you certainly don't have what it takes to date.
