I'm somewhat hesitant to post on this, since I haven't been directly effected by any of the people/dude in question (other than one of the "girls" messaging me a few times). I feel for the people that have been hurt by this, it's painful to see, and I can't understand the cackling from the crowd..it's kinda gross. LadyPact, I know we butted heads in the other thread, but I feel for you, and Tazzy, and the hurt you are feeling. I really hope for healing for all involved. Anyways. From a psychological standpoint, what a poster before me stated is correct..someone suffering from MPD or DID *absolutely* would NOT steal photos and claim them as her/his own while in DID state. It just does not happen. During a DID episode, one sees THEMSELVES in a different form, and acts accordingly, like someone said above, they would take on that person, in dress, speech and action. Searching out very specific photos, making the decision to represent them as one's *other* in a DID state, it's like the brain working two different sections at once, which is psychologically impossible. (I'm terrible at explaining in type, I hope what I'm saying is coming out correctly..lol). The best analogy I can think of is this: Tom suffers from DID/MPD, or the like. They believe they are also an 80 year old dude from scotland who tends sheep, named Fred. While in the "Fred state", they take on the accent, dress like a shepherd, and can't figure out where the fuck the sheep are. They look in the mirror, and they see FRED. The scenario being..told..here is: While in lesbian girl state, (or main state?)...the alter state went on the computer and searched for an identity to represent themself as, and "created" that identity, rather than simply carrying OUT the identity that he already saw himself as. That takes conscious thought, planning, and manipulation. In my mind, based on what I've read from the posters/poster, all signs point to Narcissistic personality disorder. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0001930/ Which, if my 2 dollar theory is correct, still makes this a sick man..but not a guiltless one. ~Fornica, who dropped out of psychology, but continued learning on her own, so take it as you wish..lol.
