Status: offline 		Yes, I got mine from a friend who ordered a pair in the wrong size, lucky me! My favorites are from Chico's.

I have done yoga, but not in those pants.

That settles it. From now on, it's yoga pants and a ponytail and the hell with impressing the proles!

Status: offline 		Effort matters, cleanliness matters to me more than makeup and hairdo and nails and other decoration things, but, I will admit that I will now go to the store for milk and bread looking a way I would not have gone to get the mail 25 years ago.

Whether that comes from maturity or laziness, I just don't care enough to worry about honestly.

Status: offline 		Actually, there are two looks prevalent here in San Diego that drive me crazy. Guaranteed that on a cold winter's day you will see:

1) Someone wearing flip flops and a winter coat

2) Someone wearing Daisy Dukes with Ugg boots and a winter coat.

To me flip flops and Uggs are the equivalent of sweatpants for feet.

Actually...

If you are grossly obese, wearing a pair of sweatpants that show every roll of body fat along with every indention in your body between your waist and your knees,
have stains on them in evidence of everything you've eaten for the past four days,
and that show the crack of your arse (while NOT bent over)

Add to that
a T-shirt with so many stains you can't see the metallic face of Elvis, and a pair of filthy shoes with so many holes you can see the dirty feet inside them
then Yes! To me you ARE telling the world you are miserable with who you are and have given up!!

Status: offline 		I was going to mention Uggs in my post because I recently heard a guy complaining
about women wearing Uggs and sweatpants.
And I've seen that flip flops in cold weather
thing to.
Uggs like Birkenstocks are pretty much hideous
and I can't defend them aesthetically.
But I own both. I just try to wear them
selectively. My Ugg boots(those babies are
warm) I only wear in winter during bad weather. But I've seen women walking around
in Daisy Dukes and Ugg boots in the summer.
A variation on Daisy Dukes in winter, I guess.
I try to keep my birckis for puttering
around the house and I've never liked
wearing flip flops. I do have me a happening
pair of Dr Scholls massager sandals that
I tricked out with tiger stripes that
are good for the pool and the beach.
But, personally I've never encountered a
man who thinks a woman looks good in
Ugg boots or birkies. I don't think either
is the footwear version of sweatpants but
sexy their not.
