I think female medical students are outnumbering male medical students at the moment. I'm not sure by how much.

That's the problem. The two are in no way related.

It's true that one can believe in superiority of one gender or the other without believing in superiority of any particular race, and vice-versa. But I think BootyBoy and sixinchsubb are saying that, once you open the door to the possibility that some human groups (sexes, races, etc.) are intrinsically superior to others, a variety of claims along those lines will come barging through and demand to be considered. Personally, I don't know how one could objectively define superiority in the first place. Even if you believe that group differences exist, ranking the groups comes down to subjective value judgements. You can legitimately talk about men being superior on average in physical strength, for example, but that's a specific characteristic and there are bound to be lots of individual exceptions anyway. Blanket claims of inferiority and superiority are very hard to defend.

I think if people want to get off on the idea that anyone is superior to them then thats fine, the idea that any one group is intrinsically better due to genetic trait is wobbly to say the least, so in answer to the OP no, 'sex' plays no real part, gender is something totally different and again no better wholesale.

i don't see it as gender dependent at all. i think each of us reacts according to our own sexuality in the sense that if we are female whoever we are dominated by -things associated with those dominants will be a turn on, even news articles. If a male, the same thing. i am MORE turned on by male domination, but also in a different way to female domination. i am not interested in sex with a female, but can be dominated by either, just has to be the right person and approach or i will either laugh at them or kick their heads off. Anything that supports my humiliation. and inferior status has an excitement. BUT again- it has to be the right person or the reaction won't be a turn on but a fight.

I certainly enjoy Female Domination.However,Female Supremacy or anything like that is a bit much for me.No one human being is "superior" or inferior" to any other human being.Besides,any group that has to have "supremacy" at the end of thier group usually isn't something I care to involve myself with anyways.No one group of people is "supreme" to any one else,period.
