It seems to me that the winner of the GOP Sth Carolina primary is .... Obama! He has just been given a free present of a few more months of Newt the Beaut and Mitt the Ripper tearing each other's throats out, wasting millions on attack ads on each other, each becoming more pointed and strident as they outline the other's faults .... while he sits in the Oval Office, serene above the melee, adding to his war chest. Had Mitt the Ripper won, all that would have been directed Obama's way ..... Obama really ought to send a Thank You note the Republicans of Sth Carolina - he owes them big time! It's not every day you dodge a bullet!
