Egads! I know it is a scary thing, but, when my ex had triple by-pass, he was operated on on Wednesday morning and home Sunday afternoon. All went well. Hang in there chickie. When home recovering, you can really do some modding!

VAA --- My dad had a bypass a few years back, and he's in fine fettle now--working, volunteering, traveling, enjoying life. Immediately after the surgery, he complained that he couldn't golf, but then my brother pointed out that he didn't golf all that well before the surgery. My point being that, as scary as this no doubt is, you can come through this and flourish. Please know that my prayers and warmest wishes are with you! xxoo DC

UPDATE ***************************************** I just spoke with Alpha on the phone. Collarme/collarchat access is blocked by the hospital she is in (she hopes to get that restriction lifted tomorrow). She wanted to come here and read all of your well wishes. I read some of them to her, and she was greatly touched. She is having the bypass surgery at approximately 10 am PST tomorrow (Friday, Jan 20). They expect to keep her in the hospital about a week, then send her home to recuperate for a month or so. Someone asked me if they could mail her something. She was surprised and pleased. Arrangements will be made for a post office box, and I will have that information available as soon as I can. Mod21
