The problem was detected in time, so I´d say it´s looking pretty positive. Besides, surgeons do bypasses all the time, she´s in good hands.

It is 8am here, so she is probably heading to the OR if she is not alreqdy there. May the Almighty guide the surgeon's hands today as he works on one of the biggest hearts I know.

21 - do you know if she is having a traditional crack the chest wide open procedure, or done by scope? That will make a difference in her recovery

Kind of awkward to be sitting here reading the updates and realize that she is in surgery I write this.  I hope and pray that everything goes well and I hope to hear that she is doing well soon.

Yeah, the doc twittered just a moment ago that she woke up in the middle of surgery, started tapping on the keys to the ocilliscope rather groggily, the doc asked what she was doing.......she said I have to moderate somebody......

then went back under......

She may not be able to receive flowers just yet. Some hospitals are very strict about that for the Intensive Care Unit and the Coronary Care Unit. I will ask later today.

Last night on the phone she said they had just shown her where the four-to-six inch scar would be. That's when I told her to request a boob lift while they had her under, since they were going to be in the neighborhood.
